  • Money well spent
Size: 11.5 Color: Saddle Tan
Remarkably comfortable, right outa the box. Zero break-in needed. Obvious high-quality build and premium materials. The full grain leather is absolutely beautiful. That first scuff is gonna be tough. I’ve wanted these for a while, and finally went for it. If you’re looking, I suggest you do the same. FYI, I’m an 11.5 in just about everything, and this is no exception. I’ve read advice to size down 1/2 click. I say get your actual size. It’s a perfect fit. Peace. ... show more

  • Love, love, love these Danners!
Size: 9.5 Color: Rich Brown
I've had these boots for a few months and have used them several times on various hikes. Wet, mountain terrain and hot, dry, rocky terrain. Usually no more than 5 miles give or take. I love these boots. They stayed cool in the heat, stayed dry splashing near mountain stream crossings, and still look great. I have problematic feet, surgery, collapsed arches, etc and these felt great right out of the box. First hike, I didn't have time to break them in and packed a LOT of bandaids, expecting the worst with blisters. Not one blister! I am female and ordered the men's boots because of the needed wider width (the boots themselves weren't a width width, however) that even in a women's wide width doesn't always work for me. There was plenty of room in the toe box, no cramping. The boots seemed feather light to me, but I read reviews stating they were a tad heavy. I was completely happy with the sizing and the weight. They grip GREAT!! I was climbing around and over boulders on a canyon petroglyph tour fearlessly!! I have a tendency to research things to death ( I searched hiking boot brands for MONTHS) and these were well worth the price! ... show more

  • The Best Hiking Boots I Have Ever Had
Size: 10.5 Color: Rich Brown
This boot, Danner's Mountain 600, is hands down the most comfortable hiking boot I have ever had the pleasure to wear--and this right out of the box. No break in! This is the hallmark of a good boot. If it doesn't feel right right away it's going to be wrong all the time in my experience. I'm 70 and I bought these boots to replace my almost 20-year-old boots that have about 25,000 miles on them (not exaggerating). I lost track of how many times they were resoled. They are Havana Joe's Chukka boots, which I wore with an insert. Talk about a tough boot! So those are going in the trunk of my car for emergency wear. And these great Danner's boots are now my every day hiking boot. I just returned from an after-dinner one-hour fast hike in the dusk in the hills around my home. I can't say enough about the comfort level--buy these boots and you won't be sorry. The grip is great, the ankle support is just right without overdoing it. I should mention that I do have a hard to fit foot. My ankle is narrow and doesn't like slipping around (whose do?), I also have a high arch and am often troubled by shoes that hurt the top of my foot. My toe span is wider in relation to my ankle and those toes like a good deal of room. So Danner's boots addressed all these issues for me beautifully. A true 10 1/2 D is my fit, though my right foot would probably like a 10 3/4 D!! But the toe box is generous and my right foot was just as happy as my left foot. I was a bit hesitant about buying a hiking boot without trying it on but I was fortunate that Danner's sizes their boots just right--so 10 1/2 D it is. I hope this recommendation helps out any of you who read this. Happy hiking! ... show more

  • Excellent boot. Can’t say enough good things
Size: 12 Color: Rich Brown
Bought a pair of these for my old man in August of 2021. He works on a ranch five days a week. Trims trees, fills feeders, mows, weedeats, etc. He also wore anytime he went hunting. Fair to say he probably wore them around 270 days a year. Finally, right around the summer of 2024 the seam began to bust on the outside of the boot. I got him another pair for Christmas and he couldn’t be happier. I bought a pair for myself last year as well and I am just as happy. Light, durable, and comfortable. Can’t see us ever getting a different pair of “work” boots. All the danner products I’ve owned have been great. Worth every penny. ... show more

  • Very sturdy boot. Great appearance. Fit was a bit tight
Very sturdy boot. Great appearance. Fit was a bit tight on my right foot for some reason and limited my use for awhile. Maybe a "break in" period is required or maybe I just have a wide, odd foot.

  • Best boots on the market
Size: 13 Color: Java/Bossa Nova - Suede
This is my 3rd pair... I'll never buy another boot. They're compfortable like a running/walking shoe, have great ankle support but aren't too tall and restrictive, they're totally waterproof yet they breath well so you feet won't get swampy and the last 2 pairs I bought lasted me 4 years before they completely wore out. Living the the PNW, I wear these boots for 6-8 months out of the year so they're well worth the price. ... show more

Size: 8 Color: Saddle Tan
The media could not be loaded. They look and feel great. Great combination between Boot and Sneaker. Used them to walk around at work and comfortable from start to finish. They performed amazing on a few hikes that had water, mud, rocks and snow. Great fit and true to size. Kept my feet warm and dry. Would definitely recommend. ... show more
