These shelves are very sturdy and work well for functional open shelves in my kitchen. They are a bit pricey, but the price is comparable to other functional shelves. I liked these because they came in the sizes and colors that I really wanted.

The media could not be loaded. I contemplating purchasing these shelves because they are both cheap but boy they are worth the mo ey. The color and finish are gorgeous and the quality speaks for itself. Not hard to install. UT we did have to get some extra snap toggles si ce due to the position only the center of the bracket caught a stud. Regardless now I feel like I can easily put plates on top without worry. On a separate note...anybody wants to make bandana bread? 😜

We ordered the shelves based on their excellent reviews, initially ordered expresso in a shorter width, we received the order & discovered the color & width wasn’t what we wanted (our fault) contacted the seller he emailed a return label right away and we reordered the longer width and natural color, they arrived super super fast! The hardware for the shelves are very sturdy and the quality of the shelves are Awesome! The photo really doesn’t do them justice! LoVe our new floating shelves, A quality product, Thanks for quick response!

Ordered these shelves for a kitchen installation. They came 10 days earlier than expected, were well-packaged, and looked great. Very heavy, sturdy material. You can tell it's hand-made by the metal components included. Our wood included some woodworm holes and I inquired about that. Customer service got back to me in decent time and provided information, including verification that the wood has been treated and is polyeurethaned. I do a fair bit of woodwork and house installations, so know my way around hanging shelves. These were a little harder to install, mostly because I chose to go with the provided anchors and they were ripping my walls a bit. I tried installing the second shelf wihtout anchors, but I felt it was too wobbly, and added the anchors afterwards. Would use anchors I have previously used next time. Other than that: buy it, don't think twice. Quality is great, look is great, price is right for the type of wood and handmade effort you're buying.

I bought a set of two shelves and my wife hired a handy-man to install them because we have a metal-framed house, so finding and drilling the studs is a bit tricky. However, when the two brackets were installed, the shelves were leaning downward. I wrote a 2-start review thinking that the shelves were made incorrectly. A couple of days later, I had a voicemail asking me to call so that they could make things right. My wife called them and explained the situation. As it turns out, the brackets were installed upside-down. Apparently, the handy-man didn't read the directions. Regardless, DAKODA LOVE wanted to make us happy, so they custom-built a set of brackets for us so that we wouldn't need to re-drill holes and they shipped them to Hawaii. That is above and beyond what we expected. I'll try to remember to post an updated photo when we install the new brackets. Thanks for making my wife happy.

Shelves arrived sooner than estimated arrival date by about 1 week. We did not try to install the shelves until about 3 months after receiving our order, at which time we realized we didn't have enough hardware to install both shelves. We contacted them email on the installation directions and received a prompt response and they immediately shipped additional hardware (more than needed) that allowed us to complete our installation. They also answered questions I had about the installation process in general, which was a little confusing, but overall not too difficult.
