  • Great Bag.
I bought this bag as a cheaper alternitive to hard cased or roller flight bag. I've had it for about 1 month now and it seems to be holding up. Its very lightly padded, but seems like it will hold up well. I've flown with it 1 time and with american airlines it qualifies for the ski bag policy. This means that they charge regular checked bag fees for this bag, NOT the oversized/overweight fees, which is a huge plus. The bag has a large main portion where your board with attached bindings goes. I currently have a Burton 157mm board and Burton mission bindings. The board fits a little loose as expected (because its a 165mm bag) but not so loose that I'm worried about it. It also has 2 boot pockets which fit my size 10 boots with room to spare. The boot pockets are offset from where the bindings are places on the board so it doesn't get to bulky. The zippers will accomidate TSA style locks. I can fit my complete setup in this bag which eliminates the neeed for another bag for gear. When I fly I can fit my pants, coat, beanie, facewarmer, gloves, chilis, hoodie and a few tools with plenty of room to spare. It comes with a handle in the middle of the bag which is what I use to carry it but it also comes with a shoulder strap that attaches to both ends for easier carrying. Overall Rating: I would reccommend this for a light travel flight bag or just somewhere to keep everything you use to snowboard. For heavy traveling (more than a few times a month) I would probably spend a little more for something else. However for the money I feel like its an excellent bargain. ... show more

  • Great Bag for that really big board and boots!
Lets be clear I am a big guy. I am 6'6" and weigh in at 300lbs. This bag is perfect for my big stuff. I have squeezed into this bag a 171 Elan El Grande Snowboard which has a waist width of 284 (This is currently the largest snow board made) as well as size 17 Ride Bigfoot Boots. Not only that because the boots are stored at either end of the snowboard it creates a space in the middle where I have put my helmet and all my clothes and gear. I now have everything in one package ready to go. The only concern is if something happens to this I lose everything. And no I did not even need to adjust my bindings to make everything fit. For you smaller guys I would think you would be swimming int his 175cm bag. I can understand the comments about being able to fit two sets of boots in this bag. My boots are huge and they fit comfortable. This is saying a lot. The only negative I would say is the the clips on the bag seem to be pretty light weight plastic so not sure how those will hold up over time. And while I would not call the zippers top grade the are not horrible either. For my very occasional trip I think they will work fine, but if you were using this bag a great deal then I might look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Nice snowboard bag!
Great bag that performs. It holds my board with bindings, boots, and has enough room for parka and pants and other minor items. I've checked it as baggage and had no damage to the bag or the contents. When packed correctly, carrying the bag by the handle or using the strap is balanced. The deep blue color looks great and is easy to distinguish from other bags at baggage claim. Note: Although this bag has padding, damage to a bag can actually occur on the inside due to the board sliding around and the board edges cutting into the bag material. Over time, any fabric material will begin to fray. To protect against this I simply cover the board edges using round foam pipe insulation (found at most home supply stores). This also provides a little extra cushion in case the bag takes a hard hit while in transit. Recommend this bag! ... show more

  • Good bag, but I recommend to noodle the ends for added protection
Nice bag overall and really like the separate compartments for the boots for those muddy parking lot days. I have a 159cm board and got the 165cm bag. I haven't air traveled with it yet, but will do so end of the month. I'll post an update then on how it holds up. I don't see why it would not hold up, since it seems to be well constructed. With a new board this year, I wanted extra protection for the ends. I took one of those cheap swimming noodles and cut it in half. I then slit it down length wise and wrapped it around the board edges. It worked out really well and it also filled out the bag nicely. See the blue foam on the ends in the bag. ... show more

  • Great bag.
Size: 175CM Color: Black
Plenty of space. The 175 CM definitely could fit a 170 board if you need it to. My 158 had plenty of room, but I just packed the far ends with gloves. I got 1 board with mounted bindings, 2 helmets, 2 sets of goggles, and 4 pairs of gloves in there with room to probably cram more stuff in for the main cavity. I will say the bindings do almost get in the way of the boot storage. You probably could get 2 pairs of boots in there if you had to...but it comfortably fits 1 pair...if you have big boots (Size 12+) it would only hold a pair I would think..not enough room to cram in 2 pairs. It definitely survived a long weekend in NC, and I expect will survive a few more trips before showing any battle-scars of traveling. ... show more

  • which is more than most because i snowboard in pretty much full body armor
This bag has survived two long trips to Colorado without a scratch. I'ts spacious enough that I used it as my board and reg luggage bag for all my clothes for each trip to include all my gear, which is more than most because i snowboard in pretty much full body armor. I stuffed the bag with 42lbs worth of crap and carried it by the handle which doesn't show any signs of wear and tear. If your going to check the bag always take the shoulder strap off. The baggage handlers will hold and throw your bag by the strap which will increase the chances of your bag returning to you broken. No complaints this is a solid bag for travel with enough cushion to keep you worry free. ... show more

  • Great bang for buck, fits a lot additional items.
I purchased the 165 CM bag, came promptly and exactly as described. I hope my review helps you decide how much you can fit inside this bag and avoid carrying a large checked bag. I was able to fit my 155 CM board, 1 pair 11 sized boots, 2 sets of Polypropylene (1 light, 1 heavy), 4 pairs of thick socks, 2 pairs of gloves, snow pants, snow jacket, Large helmet, goggles, 2 gator neck/masks, and stalking cap. I actually had a little room to spare at the tips of the board. Only thing I wish this bag had was back pack style straps, as the guitar style strap is not most comfortable. All in all great bag for the money. ... show more
