I started snowboarding again after 25 years and getting off of the lift was a terrifying experience. My back leg just never stayed on the board and I’d always wind up on the ground. Ever since I added this stomp pad, I am able to find my placement every time, and can even ride my board (back leg unstrapped) to the lift. The spikes don’t look very big in the photo, but they are actually the perfect length to catch your boot base and stay stuck. I’ve had no issues with the adhesive coming loose or sliding. Just what I was looking for. My board has a very glossy finish, so a stomp pad was a must. Zero adhesion problems if you properly prepare the bonding surfaces as instructed (alcohol wipe on board surface + heat up stomp pad and board). Make sure you peel the backings off of the stomp pad before heating and trying to apply. They can be easily missed if you’re not careful. Stomp pad great (because you can’t see it) and works well.     • Perfect but remove backing

This stomp pad is perfect. I love that it’s 3 pieces and can be customized to my boot and board. It has great grip and I like that it’s transparent and doesn’t cover my board but just disappears. As other reviews state, the instructions do not mention that you need to remove a clear film to uncover the adhesive before heating it up and applying it to the board. Other than that the instructions are very clear and detailed and after following them exactly the stomp pad adhered and works perfectly. I’m very happy with it and highly recommend, just don’t forget to remove the backing from the stomp pad. And make sure the board is room temp a day before and a day after application. ... show more

    • Peel off the protective coating!

A lot of reviews stating that this stomp pad doesn't stick. If you peel off the extremely hard to peel coating on the bottom side and prep with alcohol wipes and a hair dryer it sticks perfectly fine. Great for the price and it's clear which keeps the board looking clean.

    • Now I can get off the lift

The adhesion went great by following the directions and hearing it up. I spread the three sections apart so my foot will always be hitting parts of it. It makes getting off the lift so much easier as my foot won’t slip off my board. It works just as I’d hoped.

I have race bindings on my AT setup. The bindings don have a heel pad. I used the little parts of this set as heel pads. They provided traction and some cushion as well as protecting the ski. Very happy so far
