My 7 year old daughter is a size 7, so I bought a size 7 in these and she tried them on and they fit with her toe right at the top of the boot. So, I returned them and bought the next size up, a size 8, to assure that she doesn't outgrow them during the middle of the winter and the snow. These are excellent quality and absolutely worth the price, which is why I bought the next size up instead of just returning them because I need these to last through the winter. They look just like the picture. Highly recommend.

They are very comfortable and fit well… the only thing I wasn’t crazy about are the straps are on the outside of the leg… alittle harder to fasten the boot … but still manageable!

I pulled these out of the package and was amazed at their beauty. Gorgeous snow boots! However, I had to return them. I had measured my foot, and the chart indicated it was size 7. If shopping in a shoe store, I usually buy size 7, but only very occasionally I size up to a 7 1/2. Reviews suggested these run true to size, and being they're snow boots, after all, and should have room for socks (?), I ordered the size 7. But they were too short for my big toes, even without the warm socks one would expect to wear under snow boots. I returned them. If size 8 had been available in the red, I would have ordered the size 8 as a replacement. It was sold out, though, so I ordered a different type of snow boot to replace these. 5 stars for the beautiful color and finish. Subtracting 1 star only b/c they have no arch support at all. And because they were a bit small for the size. But, if they'd been available in an 8 at the time, I would have just ordered these same boots in size 8 regardless of the lack of arch support. They're that pretty.

I ordered up per other reviews 1/2 size and was smart to do so. Faux shearling on the leg of the boot but the foot area is matted down from interior packaging. I went inside with my fingers and roughed it back up to help with warmth. I have thick legs so the opening of the leg area is good, can't tighten down the boot but also it is not loose for me. They are comfortable to walk in more so than I first thought, and although I have not shoveled snow in them yet, with heavy socks they seem to do the trick, thus the 1/2 size up for said thick socks. I do like the tread, but would still be careful on icy surfaces. *** My original post was a 3 star and much more negative of the boot, but the post office carrier really beat them up forcing them into my mailbox. I was contacted within an hour by the seller and offered a remedy of replacement, refund or discount. I replied that I was good with what I had, knowing I had not actually worn them out yet. To my surprise 3 days later - I received a spanking new pair even though I told them not too. So thank you LedaWen Mao Yi for doing so, it was not necessary but I will remember your kind deed. Thank you.

I loved my moon boots back in the 60's! These are a close 2nd. They are light weight and my feet didn't get cold at all walking in the snow in them for over a mile. It was in the 30's so not super cold but in my old boots my feet would have been cold. I have wide feet so I order a size up so I can wear thicker socks, they fit well, a little long but they don't slip bad.

I usually buy a 9 in shoes and the reviews said these boots run small so I bought a 10. I should have gotten a 10.5 or 11. They fit but are tight if I wear thicker socks.
