  • The Best Playing Cards on the Market
Together with Modiano Old Trophy and Da Vinci Classico (which are actually the same with only a different finish of the back), these cards are the best on the market. Absolutely perfect playing cards! If you want the best deck on the market with no drawback at all, stop wasting your time and money on other products. These cards are: - Solid. Whatever you do with them, they keep straight - unlike KEM's, which warp like crazy and cannot be fixed. - Perfectly flexible. Their elasticity is perfeclty balanced - the cards are not hard at all, but perfectly fast at flexing back to their straight position. Great for riffle-shuffle bridge, which is very lazy and sluggish with KEM's. - Odorless. Unlike KEM's, which stink like a chemical factory, these cards have no odor at all. - Water resistant. Unlike KEM's, which warp irreversibly once in touch with water, these cards are just like new after washing. - With excellent friction factor. The friction between cards is perfectly adjusted and balanced: these cards fan beatifully and spread perfectly even. This is a great advantage contrary to my second favorite deck Bicycle Prestige, the cards of which are also great but feel too slippery and dry. - Pleasant to touch. Although these cards, naturally, don't feel like paper, they are very, very pleasant to touch. The feel is certainly "not so plastic" as that of, for instance, Piatnik 100% plastic or Bicycle Prestige. - Beautiful. Although the design is that of the classical index, the colors are very pleasant and bright. The ace of spades and the jokers are just beautiful. - With two colors of Jokers. Each deck contains one black joker and one red joker. Great for various game modifications. - With lifetime warranty. As I have already written, these cards are absolutely perfect. I really regret having wasted my time and money on other decks. If I had to chose one deck for the rest of my life, it'd be this Da Vinci Ruote. ... show more

  • Nothing finer than Da Vinci cards
I just bought a half dozen 2-Deck Poker Size Sets to give to the members of my poker group. I still have a dozen packs of classic Bicycle card decks, but may never break the seal on them. One host served up the Da Vinci cards at a game a couple of years ago and I've been hooked ever since. They shuffle sweetly, cards don't get nicked or bent (unless you really abuse them), seem to last forever, and can be cleaned if they become soiled. These are a true joy to use and in the long term are economical to use. A half dozen games is all I want to use a fresh pack of Bicycle or Bee cards. They get nicked or bent, swell up a bit with moisture from players hands and get dirty. I've been using one pair of the Da Vinci cards for nearly 6 months and they feel as good as new. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, so to be able to clean these cards (spray cleaner and paper towels, not tossed into a washing machine and dryer) is a big plus for me. (One player I know licks his finger tips every time he starts dealing - ugh! I used to toss the Bicycle decks after games he played in. Now I just wipe the Da Vinci's down and keep the decks in play.) Try a little test. Next time you're playing cards, alternate between a deck regular cards and one of the Da Vincis. I guarantee you that after a few deals, every player at the table will be asking if you have another Da Vinci deck. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • great value. cards are durable and attractive.
I lost my decks of Kem and Copag cards in a recent move to a new house. I was reluctant to buy new decks of those premium cards just in case my old ones manifested themselves. So I bought one deck of Bicycle Prestige plastic cards at my local dept. store. They were OK but I wasn't very impressed and also the cards just had a bad acetate smell. Then before my big hold em tournament I bought two decks of these Da Vinci cards (and some Da Vinci chips, too) I have to say that these are nice cards. they stood up to 7 hours of play in texas hold em, and also with little kids playing with one of the decks for a couple of hours. The cards are durable and flexible, and are easy to clean. We got some cheet-o stains on a few of the cards, but they cleaned right up with a damp paper towel. They have a nice snap to them and are not too stiff. The designs are very plain and not impressive and the cards are very slippery to hold. so in that respect I do like my KEM cards slightly better than these Da Vincis. However with one deck of Bicycle Prestige cards at one table and these Da Vinci's at another (in about the same amount of play) these cards kept their shape and ability to shuffle them well far better than the bikes. I think these are good cards at a good value, but if you want some that are not too slippery or have bolder colors, then get the KEMs for a few bucks more. 100% Plastic Bicycle Prestige Dura-Flex Cards Blue - Rare KEM Arrow Red and Blue Poker Size Standard Index Playing Cards Copag Poker Size Regular Index 1546 Playing Cards (Blue Red Setup) ... show more

  • just good, cards
We play a lot of card games and sometimes the cards are heavaly used if you know what I mean, having said that they will break corners if thrown down a bit too hard and hit the corner. I still gave 4 stars because company will replace cards you break. Not free.

  • Great cards, highly recommended
I play poker weekly with a group of guys. This deck set is great for us for many reasons: - There are two decks, so you can shuffle one while playing a hand with the other, and they are different colors so you don't get them mixed up - They're plastic cards, but don't feel slippery like most plastic cards - these are just as easy to shuffle as typical paper cards. - They last MUCH longer than traditional cards, and don't wear out over time. I've been using these every week for 7 months, and they still feel and look brand new. - They don't absorb liquid - if you happen to spill a drink on them, they pool water, so you don't have to worry about ruining them with a bit of water (or whatever you're drinking) - They don't crease easily - Folded cards are the quickest way to ruin a deck, because people will remember exactly what card has a crease down the middle. These cards can be folded in half, creased, then unfolded again and the crease will quickly rub out. ... show more

  • For When You Need Really Nice Cards but Not Willing to Pay too Much
As a loser with enough time to write reviews for things on Amazon in 2020, I take my leisure hobbies seriously. If you're like me, you somehow have 15-or-so odd Bicycle card decks (in various states of incompletion) scattered around your house, tucked into drawers or between board games. You'll find one, periodically, as you clean, and lament this means yet another short deck that needs replacing. This is unacceptable and financially egregious. Now, you can have a deck of cards that's too expensive to be frivolous with, but also really nice to have and not a "gimmick" deck (i.e. those dreadful "Jumbo", themed, or otherwise overpriced stupid decks they have at Barnes & Noble). These are some sweet cards. They "thwip" nicely, are resistant to bending or folding, and look very cultured when you reveal them before your friends. "Clearly", your friends will think, "this fine fellow/madam has a cultured palette for cards, and is to be taken seriously." I use them at all my poker games when I wish to impress upon my peers the gravity of their situation: they play against a man (Wife's Amazon account, leave me alone) who intends on winning. He went through the effort to buy cards on Amazon. It took me 12 minutes of "research" to find these, and in terms of what that would have meant 40 years ago, I basically scoured the world's great libraries and merchants. Buy 'em. Or don't. I'm not your mom. They're from Vinci, like that one guy, so that's better than being from China. Like my LEAST favorite things this year. ... show more

  • These are great cards.
I have ordered two sets of these cards now, because I really like the quality and this is a great price for this quality of set. The 100% plastic cards just feel like they will last forever, and once you have played with them if you pick up a deck of cheap paper or laminated cards you won't believe the difference. They are sturdy, washable, and feel good in your hands. One note that may be helpful for personal preference, I also have a couple decks of COPAG 100% plastic hold 'em cards, and I would say that these Da Vincis are slightly stiffer than the COPAGs. Stiffer might mean sturdier over the long run, and this set for $11 was noticeably cheaper than the $18 I paid for a set of COPAGs. But for comparison's sake, the flexible COPAGs in some ways feel better (for example, I can do a "bridge" shuffling the COPAGs more easily than with these). In any event, I highly recommend this set. ... show more

  • Great playing cards.
I have used Kem cards for years and this is my first experience with Da Vinci cards. I find that the Da Vinci cards are a little thicker than the Kem cards and a little heavier. These two attributes do not interfere with my enjoyment or ability to shuffle the cards. I really am liking the cards even though they are slippery, but so are the Kem cards. The Da Vinci cards come in a nice plastic case, the design on the back of the cards is pleasing, they are very easy to shuffle, they do not crease or show corner wear. I especially like there replacement card policy. I would highly recommend these cards. ... show more
