I purchased the curved handle bars without the grips. This product has really made exercising on my spin bike so much better. I suffer from lower back issues and hunching over to reach the bars on the bike was aggravating my back and causing some discomfort. The installation is pretty simple and the bars fit well on my particular bike. The product has some good weight to them and seems well made. The price point is fair for the quality of the item. I expect the bars to last for many years. I will never be able to use my spin again without these handle bar extenders. It has really saved my back and made exercising on my spin bike tolerable again. For reference, I have a Schwinn IC4 spin bike.

This Works! I did not like the price. It took a good number of adjustments but these are working very well for me. I am using these on an old type road bike which in is on a trainer for the winter. The diameter of my handle bars are just under the minimum for these extenders. I ended up using some bike tire inner tubing wrapped around the handle bars with one of the sets of shims provided. I saw in the reviews someone mentioned bike inner tubing as a shim. When the extenders are tightened adequately they hold very well, like they do not move. I did have to reset the spacing of the extenders from the center of the handle bars like about 5 times for what felt right for me. I did buy separate hand grips which worked fine, but also ended up tapping some cut pool noodle over them for even more cushioning. The extenders are made very well, very heavy duty solid metal, with quality welds. The threading and screws provided worked good - I had to loosen and retighten the extenders several times to get the adjustments just right for me as I mentioned. I think 4 sets of different sized collars are provided and also a small allen screw wrench to tighten the screws. I think this has a life time warranty. As I said, I think this is way too pricey but it does work, and I have tried several DIY things before this with varying degrees of success but this is the best so far. I would recommend these extenders - the installation might take some work though.

Just what we needed to make the bike I got from my daughter suitable for non-spin / seated stationary biking. Much better for an upright posture. They were easy to install and are comfortable to use. They were a bit expensive in my opinion though.

Did what it said on the ad so 5 stars. I added 8" sections of pool noodles as 'grips' on top of double sided tape instead of paying for manufactured ones. Works really well. Only negative is that they are a bit overpriced for what they are, especially as they're manufactured in the thousands.

This add was a game changer. After a total knee replacement in the family, it was either sell the current exercise bike for a recumbent bike or change a few things including the seat. Adding these extenders helps to sit up straight. It reminds me of sitting on a cruiser! I can still use it for spinning as it does not change the original handle bar. The instructions are great and all the pieces needed come in the box. We have a PRO FORM I FIT bike.
