Installed this adjustable stem on my Pedego Trail Tracker EBike. I am a little tall at 6'4" and the standard stem that came with the bike was just a little too low. Took about 15 minutes to install and adjust to my preference. It is a little heavy but my bike is heavy anyway so really won't know the difference. One thing to note is the wiring on the bike was configured for the shorter standard stem configuration. Since this stem is higher and can extend further forward I had to tweek wiring a little bit because it was a little short. If I would have had to make a sharp right turn when first installed it might have pulled some wiring. For some of you this wouldn't apply depending on how wiring is routed. So far I like this stem. It makes the ride more comfortable and easier for me to get on and off the bike (more leg room). ... show more

A little research on this upgrade paid off. Install time was about 10mins (remove old stem riser from handlebars, install this one). Features I liked were (1) the vertical head bolt wasn't buried under the part that rotates, so you could make adjustments to any bolts, (2) the side stem bolts for handlebar to wheel alignment, (3) the height (angle setting bolt) and (4) the handlebar clamp bolts. I had a decent set of T-handle Allen wrenches, so bolts were easily tightened, and all bolts fully seated (I've heard some may not be tapped deep enough in the aluminum). Weight was not an issue (though slightly heavier than the original stem, on a 90LB bike who cares). Also the forged aluminum matched the bike's fork tube triple head clamp style, so that was a plus. Powder coating finish a little different, but if you didn't tell anyone, they'd probably never notice. Lastly, this is the 110mm unit, set at ~65deg. This resulted in the handlebars about 2-1/2" inches higher than the stock stem. ... show more

I liked it so much, I had to get the the 90 mm. Well.... I had to get the 90mm as the 130mm is too long and the front cable on my Trek bike is too short to allow me to put it at a higher angle that I want it at. It was easy to install. It just was hard to determine which size one I needed by looking at the cables on the handle bar. I guessed wrong and know waiting on the 90 mm one. ... show more

my handlebars on my new E bike were way too low. This raised them almost 3 inches saving my back. would've preferred slightly taller, but I don't think my cables had enough slack. easy install quality part looks good. buy it.

This fit perfect. Headlight remounts on this the same as original. Cable lengths not an issue The adjustable stem allowed me to raise the handlebars to my liking which made for a more comfortable ride.
