  • Very nice tight compression throughout the leg
Color: Black Size: Large
These are the only leggings I work out in. For the gym, for a run, or to play tennis, anything I do with mild to high impact on my legs and knees, I am wearing these. Gives me much needed knee support, shock absorption and stability while active. Very nice tight compression throughout the leg, supporting my joints. High waisted giving good core support. Little mesh pocket at the waist for my chapstick. Strong material smooths out hips and most of the lumps and bumps for a smooth, curvy silhouette. Theyre costly but a worthy investment to protect from the wear and tear of vigorous activity. I have several because I work out often and work up a sweat but cant do laundry everday so its good to have several to keep in rotation while the sweaty ones are waiting to be washed. They can get expensive but often the prices fluctuate on amazon so you can get good deals. Important to pay attention to the laundering tag. DO NOT use fabric softner on these and do not put them in the dryer. My first couple pair were getting little wholes in them that would eventually grow and turn into big rips. I was getting so upset that something so expensive was deteriorating so quickly, then I realized my laundry lady was washing them with fabric softners and machine drying them. Now I run them through the washer myself with lots of soap on either cold or warm water cycles and then just hang to let them air dry, and these last much longer. No wholes, fabric stays strong and in tact. Some of the tights that I have worn for years start to wear out in the inner thigh area close to the groin because of my shape and also when im stretching that area takes the most strain, but I just get them patched back up with additional black lycra fabric and theyre good as new. Many people complain about the sizing but these are compression leggings so they are strong and tight the way they are supposed to be, to hold everything up and together. If you are looking for something loose or super stretchy like yoga pants, these are not for you. These are for strong and serious support, for long term impact and protection, like for people running miles, etc. At first they were hard to put on but after a few washes and wear they get a bit more stretchy and I am so used to putting these on everyday I dont notice the resistance anymore and they feel so great once theyre on. I love how they make me look smaller and smooth out the curves and feel so well supported. The cw-x "stabilyx" are a very worthy investment for anyone truly needing good support in their activewear. These are only bested by their cw-x "endurance generator" tights which are the highest level of supportive tights this brand offers (and my favorite of the 2) ... show more

  • Farthest Run to Date was with my new pair of CW-X Stabilyx Tights
Color: Black Size: Large
I have numerous medical issues : vertigo, 3 degenerative disks ( upper/mid/lower back), chronic bronchitis ( nonsmoker) 4th time having lung issues requiring inhaler to simply breath, heat stroke so I have difficulty regulating temps and sweat more than norm, and I utilize chiropractors roughly every few months for back, shoulder, neck, and calf tightness issues. Just started running this year as weather in NEPA has been brutal~ I've run 7 times since January 2018 with average pace of 9'16"pace with 41.34 total kilometers this after having bronchitis 4times. Today with the CWX I ran my longest distance of 8.12km ( 5.046miles) with 8'35"/Km and a time of 1:09:43. I also smashed my own records with the faster 1k of 7:13, fastest 1 mile with 12:22 , and hit a personal best of 42:28 in the 5k all while wearing these tights. I'm roughly 5ft9in weighing 188lbs ( Main workout: Crossfit)so I'm well built and muscular. The support in the midsection, back, knees, legs was superb and I was surprised how little moisture was around my stomach and how easy they came off. I stayed dry and comfortable with these for the entire run in 40 temps with high wind. I didn't feel the wind , nor the cold weather not once on my legs and the fit was perfect for me without riding up at the hems nor bunching up in crouch area. Extremely comfortable to wear, no rubbing (inner thigh) engages the hamstring/calf area nicely while supporting quadriceps, very little muscle soreness, the belly flap stayed put & never fell over and I welcomed the string to keep in place. Lightweight yet breathable, and the joint support offered was amazing. I'm glad to get these at a sensible price much lower than retail price and my shipper was excellent. I'm not your average runner and in fact haven't ran competitively long-mid distance/cross country since high school over 25 yrs ago. With these I may just reconsider. I'm a momx3 teens who doesn't get much spare time but I appreciate good quality made material and the coolmax, lycra feature with stabilyx is exactly what I needed in my late 40's. ... show more

  • Fantastic running tights
Color: Black Size: Small
I love these tights. I've tried tights from Under Armour and Lululemon and these ones seem to provide the best compression. I like the support web that wraps around my thighs and supports my knees. I'm currently training for a half-marathon and I can definitely tell the difference in support when I wear these and when I don't. My legs don't feel as tired during the run, and I feel like they recover faster after the run when I wear these tights. I like that they are a higher rise as well, and I can feel the back and abdominal support. These are meant to be very compressive, and I found the size chart on the CW-X website to be accurate for my weight and build. I had read some reviews that suggested sizing up, but I'm glad that I didn't. They are a bit of a struggle to get on, as others have said. I find that it's easiest to get the knee circle lined up first, pull the tights up just past the knee and adjust as needed, and then pull them up the rest of the way. The only thing I don't really like about these tights is the ridiculously long drawstring at the waist. I ended up cutting it out as these tights fit me well enough that I didn't use it anyway. There is also a little pocket that I'm assuming would be for a key or a gym card or something, but these tights are so fitted that I think it would be uncomfortable to have something in the pocket while exercising. But those are minor annoyances...these tights are awesome. ... show more

  • Fit, feeling, and comparison to the Men's tights
Color: Black Size: Large
I ordered the Men's large first, because in my experience men's products as an athlete fit me better. The men's large is TOO BIG! Men's medium or Women's large fit just right! I'm a little taller than 5'8", weigh about 180lbs so I'm built, decently...not a body builder or really into fitness- I have "fluff" or what some may refer to as a "spare tire" around my waste. I do workout regularly and the purpose of these pants was to wear under my refereeing uniform. The sizes are very, very accurate and fit well. The waste band sits comfortably, and can be tied tighter if need be. It does not hurt or squish my rolls in a way that makes me feel subconscious. The dynamic of the pants is it does have a component on the hip, stronger than regular compression pants, that maintain pressure and help reduce strain as I run. I can feel a different once I'm done because my hip flexors are always tight and I'm constantly stretching them to help with hamstrings and other things with my legs that follow. To continue down the leg the band's run along the outer and inner thighs, helping relieve stress with the IT band. The cross action occurs twice around the knees, giving them support with every step helping brace for impact. This is the only place where I have a problem is keeping the middle section centered around my patella (falls down). Weirdly enough is it's just that and no other portion or function of the tights; just the part that crosses below the knees.the band's then continue thru the length of the tights helping with shin splints. The holes at the ankles seem tight when trying to put your foot thru it (size 10.5 women's) but find that the hole fits nicely around the ankle. The pictures attached show the difference in knee width so you can see the varying support of the band of men's compared to women's. The women's tight is just a little more narrow (one of the left, man's is the one on the right-wing for both pictures). It's about 0.5" less in diameter. I'm not sure why this is, but I can say from using both and coming from someone who frequently buys men's apparel to work out in that the lay out of the woman's pant helped support more than the man's. ... show more

  • Best leggings ever!
Color: Black Size: Small
These leggings absolutely saved the day for me. After yet another injury to my knees I was looking for some kind of brace but instead found these. They could not have been better. They held at the right places, enabled me to walk more comfortably, and got me through a very painful incident. They have a lot of compression (but that is what you want!) I think they look good and have held up for years! I highly recommend them to anyone with knee injuries! My only wish would be that they had some sort of pocket for my phone ... show more

  • Very uncomfortable
Color: True Navy Size: Small
Very hard to put on and off, correct size for compression but very comfortable. I didn’t try until after the return date so it’s too late but expensive and probably won’t wear, sending to donation

  • Great
Color: True Navy Size: Medium
Works well for hypermobility (joint stability) and pots (blood pooling). My only complaint is a bit too much squeeze on the gut area and im a small person 5ft 6 in 110 lbs. Nylons tend to be itchy but since these are yoga pants material it has less of that.

  • The only running pants you'll ever need!
Color: Black Size: Small
I am on my 4th pair. But not because they don't last long. I run in these pants 20-40 miles every week, every season (unless it's below 20 and I have another one of their pants I wear for colder weather). They go through the washer some times 7 days a week. A pair lasts me about a year. But I keep coming back for more. They are the best running pants I have ever worn. You get all the support you need on your entire leg. I even wear them at 100 degree temperatures. You don't even notice you have them on, but you will when you run in something else! And you avoid getting those annoying tan lines in summer. If they seem too small the first time you put them on, but you ordered your size, they probably are not. They shouldn't be easy to put on, but if you have the knee diamond over the knee and the rest of the length is right, than you have the correct size. If you are not sure what to order (being in between sizes), go one size smaller. The reason some people have problems with them moving while they run, where at the end the diamonds are in the wrong place, it is because they are wearing a bigger size. I am 5'4", between 125-130 lbs and I wear a size Small. I know they are pricey, but I don't think you'll need another running pant! ... show more
