My daughter is 7 and I can see this lasting her a few years depending on how quickly she grows. At the chair’s max height, it’s probably too low for *an average adult*. And the seat too small for a petite adult. Trust me - I want an adult version and was testing it for “science.” Right now the chair is set to to max level - 3 pumps down (whatever that is) so it means it will probably last her at least until she is 10 yrs? She’s 49 inches tall now. The chair only lowers with enough weight (adult weight) which means kids need supervision to lower it - but maybe that was intentional for safety reasons. So I won’t deduct anything for that. However the main rod that inserts into the base where the wheels are - is not actually screwed in at the base. Meaning if you lift the top part of the chair, it might detach itself from the part with the wheels. This is kind of awkward but not really a problem for daily usage. Even though it’s not screwed in, it does feel secure when moving around and spinning in the chair. The metal rod extends more than enough inches past the insert point so can’t really fall out under normal usage. But you know kids - if you have a wild one, I maybe a bit more concerned and would recommend another chair. Hope my review helps parents out there who love cute stuff! ... show more

Great little item, however my 8 year old can only raise the chair, she is not heavy enough to lower it. I have to sit on chair to lower it and I'm 210lbs. She should be able to raise and lower the chair on her own. Will need to return.

I bought this for my daughter because she needs a chair but it was like $100 it’s pricey for a small little chair and I have like a Bendy little horn I just don’t even have like proper assembling you just put the chair on top of the wheel area then put the weird area on top of the chair thing and then boom you got it and then you had to spin it until it’s perfect then if you want to go go higher it’s very short still for my opinion it’s great, sturdy,comfy,but seriously $100 just for this I don’t get it thank you Sincerely Madeline ... show more
