I'm so happy with this purchase. The original urn I got my mom in was just a plain gold metal square box. It came with the package I got from the funeral home. I never intended on keeping her in that but I never saw anything that spoke to me. When I saw this I knew I had to get it. I was so happy when I came. It was packaged so nice, in bubble wrap with a velvet bag and a white cloth bag under it. The actual urn is nice and heavy, very well made. It has a twist off cap that is very easy to open but very secure. The size is great and has the perfect heaviness to it. It also came with a plastic bag for the ashes and a zip tie to secure it. I couldn't be happier. The price was perfect. I recommend this product to any looking for an urn for their loved one. Definitely a great value for the money.

Urn was perfect for a remembrance for my children, very nice looking and quality. But the package was very musty smelling before opening, and worse when opened. Appeared to have black mold inside and around the seal of the urn, and velvet box. The company did not respond to me timely, so I returned through Amazon. Because I really liked it, I’m reluctantly going to order it again. We’ll see!

I don't know of anyone who enjoys purchasing urns but compared to the selection offered by funeral homes this provided the best memorial for my dad who loved being late off the lake because he enjoyed looking up at the stars and could get lost in them for hours. My main complaint was I'd like to see the threads on the lid cleaned better. The starting of screwing down the lid was a bit rough but once started it was easy enough to run the lid all the way down and back up to clear the threads. If I had one more thought it would be a security screw to secure it closed until the time for spreading (if you're planning to do that) For the design the images provided supplied felt accurate for what I received and in someways it was better than I expected and felt like it would hold up pretty well for its intended purpose. Overall while I don't want to buy another urn anytime soon, if I had too I'd look into the offerings of this company again. The only thing I'd like to be better displayed on the product page is if it meets legal lining requirements to be buried in cemeteries and what the weight of the living can be expected to fit in the different sizes (I ordered 2 and returned 1 because in my case my 275lb father according to the funeral home fit within 1 large urn).
