I wash it and dry it before I put on my bed. You can see in the picture it came out very good. Is not thick is soft. Love the color for fall. Keep you warm. I have a queen bed but bought a king. Fit perfectly.

The thing I love most about this comforter is that it holds well when you wash it (even though I think the label says not to wash it, but I’m stubborn soooo). Anyway, the inner material doesn’t clump up when you wash and dry it, so that’s a plus and it’s super comfortable and heavy.

I really liked it, but it is way too small for my bed. It may be perfect for a queen size bed, but not for a king one. It also arrived with black spot that didn’t go away after washing.
