This pendant is gorgeous -- I receive compliments frequently! I bought this one specifically because of the double bails and intricacy. My New Year's resolution for 2023 was the typical "new year, new you" -- but unlike most people, I'm sticking with it! And the phoenix is the symbol of my mantra: "I am a phoenix, and I rise from the ashes of my past".... this pendant exemplifies that saying perfectly. The pendant is a nice size (the round one is a little smaller than a quarter) and not too heavy. I did put it on a snake chain though, because I was concerned that two points of contact might place stress on a link chain. Speaking of chains, I'm a smallish woman (5'4, size 6, size Medium) so it took some experimenting to find a chain I like. The ones in the photo are 14" (plain), 16" (phoenix), and 18" (wave). 14" doesn't work for the Phoenix because the bails shorten it a little and -- let's be honest -- it's too short anyway. The 16" seems to pair well with the size of the phoenix. Unfortunately I don't remember the chain thickness (I think 1.2mm?) but it's not too 'heavy' for the size of the pendant. I HIGHLY recommend this pendant to anyone who identifies with the phoenix, or who just want something different!

This is perfect! There are no sharp points and it has a nice weight. The chain is adjustable allowing varying lengths. The size of the pendant is just right - not too big or small. I love this and it may become a daily necklace!

Pictures do not do them justice. Absolutely gorgeous. I will definitely be ordering the matching necklace as soon as I can. Wonder if studs or something related could be made to match since I have multiple holes in each ear???

This is a lovely necklace. The phoenix is so very detailed. I appreciate that the pendant was packaged in a zip top bag separate from the chain to protect it during shipment. The pendant and chain are both marked for sterling silver. This necklace came in a branded jewelry box with a small polishing cloth included, perfect for gift giving.
