This is a review for: "Cuban Link Chain for Men 5mm 18K Gold Plated Gold Silver Mens Necklace, 316L Stainless Steel Miami Curb Chain 18 20 22 24 Inch, Durable Waterproof Hip Hop Jewelry Gift for Him, Everyday Wear" About 15 years ago a few years after i got married i got a nice stainless steel necklace with a rough cut cross charm from the same jewelry store i bought my wife's wedding ring from and I wore that for several years. One day the ball chain broke loose from one of the clasps sides and I never got it repaired. Growing up I usually had necklaces and wore them often but kind of got away from it. When this was offered for review I decided I would like to have one again and since items like this go quickly I decided to measure my neck with a tap measure I had laying nearby and decided on the 22" length. I didn't want a necklace that would feel like a choker but I also didn't want a necklace that was too long either. Once I received this I put it on immediately and I am very pleased with the fit. It is perfect. The stainless steel is very shiny and the clasp holds well. The clasp is very strange though and I have never seen one like this. I first pulled on the tab thinking it was a spring loaded release and it may in fact be but when I pressed the tab it released but when I put the other side back in it did not click for me. I ended up pushing the button and it stayed locked in. I found this to be weird so i tried it several more times. Push button, release, put back in, push to lock in place. I decided that was just how it worked. I have been wearing this for several days now and I noticed the first time I went to take it off I wasn't able to get it to come apart. After much finagling it finally came loose but now when I push the catch side back into the clasp it clicks in. It remains difficult to remove but i found that tilting the clasp at a down angle with the flat side pivoting up or down on the long edge seems to release it easily. The new normal is now to click it in and tilt the connector at an angle to release it. It is comfortable and looks really nice with the cuban links shining in the light. This is a really good value for a nice piece of jewelry!

I recently ordered the Flixar Cuban link chain and I have mixed feelings about it. Overall, the chain itself is absolutely fantastic. It has a beautiful finish that catches the light perfectly and is not too heavy. The links are tight, snag-free, and it lays completely flat on the neck, making it perfect for daily wear while wearing with or without a pendant. However, the reason for the four-star rating instead of five is the clasp. It is hard to open/close. It requires you to press in to release and you also have to press it in to lock in place. Securing it around my neck was frustrating, but it's a nice necklace.

I’ve always wanted a thick chain but never ended up buying one in gold (especially with today’s gold prices 😄). When this was offered for review, I decided to go for it and chose the 22" length—I didn’t want it too tight like a choker, but also not too long. The fit turned out perfect. The stainless steel is very shiny, and the clasp feels secure. I’ve been wearing it for several days now and it’s comfortable while still looking really nice—the Cuban links catch the light well and stand out without being over the top. Super stylish but very fake color. It’s nice maybe for a costume or like to keep tucked but the color really missed the mark. It’s very orangey, it looks like a Halloween chain. I wouldn’t pay the asked price for it. That being said, it’s a good length that fits well and it hasn’t broken yet, so I guess it’s a good quality chain just kinda goofy looking color.

I’ve been wearing this 5mm Cuban link for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become my go-to everyday chain. The 316L stainless steel gives it a nice, substantial weight. It doesn't feel like a cheap, hollow costume piece. It sits flat against the chest and doesn't kink up. The 18K gold plating has a deep, rich luster—not that overly bright, orange fake gold look you often see. I’ve worn it through workouts and showers, and so far, there is zero tarnishing or skin discoloration. The lobster claw clasp is sturdy and secure. This is a cool minimalist style chain that can definitely be a "daily driver". I like that its simple and for that reason can go with a lot of outfits or occasions. I got the shortest length in silver. While its not real silver, I like the solidness of the feel and it has good link lock that pops in very secure so I think its well made, but to prevent even possible wear of the color/shine I probably wouldn't shower with it on. But I'm just being cautious. Its possible showers won't affect it all. Its great that there are multiple lengths available. I measured around my neck and thought the shortest length would be the most classic look, but I think I should've gone with the next size up since its right on the edge of getting hidden by most T shirt collars. If you want a simple chain that goes with most outfits, well made, at this price it can't be beat.
