Very pleased with this product. Shopped many choices of xylophones, this product has far superior sound, most likely due to the hollow acoustic sound box on which the keys are mounted (similar to a guitar) plus well tuned keys. Very pleased with the item delivered, outstanding for both adults and kids per its sound. The wood box is simple, not artistic/art level, but the sound is outstanding. Comes with shorter rigid-stem wood tip mallets plus longer flexing-stem rubber tip mallets, later seem to provide nice touch hitting the keys. Had a small temporary problem with the red rubber tip mallets transferring red to hands & cloth at touch (worth checking), the vendor immediately nicely replaced them with new non-staining mallets. Excellent product.

It’s a good purchase but I just wish I had gotten a bigger one to have more notes. Some of the songs I wanted to play I can’t because there’s not a key for it. Also, the sticks had a little cubby hole for easier storage and transportation
