I bought this hoping it would work even though I read reviews that were negative. Many people said they got a rash... here's why. (Read the whole review) The hair removal is a BYPRODUCT of what the thing actually does. It exfoliates the skin and thus removes hair. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE ALL OF YOUR HAIR IN ONE GO! You will hurt yourself. So when I got it, I started off really soft on my arm (as it tells you in the instructions) and I could feel it scraping off skin (it's painless, just be gentle!). I figured I would try it on my stomach and legs as well to see how it works on my most sensitive skin and the thickest skin I have. My legs have really thick skin and I have problems with hair growing under the first couple layers (I have to dig them out so this is why I hate shaving). This device does a great job at thinning out the hair! I'm so pleased. But it's going to take me days to remove all of the hair because I don't want to remove too much skin at once. I'm fine with that, as I'd rather have a long term solution to hair removal than wait till the last minute to shave. I tried this out on long hairs (I haven't shaved in months) so if you have stubble that you want to remove, just be careful. I can't report on how it works on stubble yet, but when I have regrowth I'll come back and post my thoughts on this as well.

I hate the hassle of shaving my legs in the shower and the stubble after just a day. Waxing leaves my legs smoother for much longer, but I don’t always have time or want to spend the money. This little gizmo is a miracle. So easy to use. The only thing I don’t like about it is that I start getting stubble the following day just like shaving. It definitely doesn’t last as long as waxing or the 2 to 3 week recommended interval. I still definitely prefer it over shaving!

I love this product, it’s very easy to use and is very effective. I used it in the shower and my legs have never been so smooth! This is the perfect tool for me to take care of unwanted hair. It’s completely pain free, even though it’s slightly abrasive and you can feel it tug at the hair and your skin some times but it’s very gentle. There’s no risk of cutting yourself with a blade and it’s also travel friendly! My grandma was so impressed I decided to buy one for her since traditional shaving has become a challenge for her.

I love it. In a hurry, forgot to shave? This is the solution but use it gently. It feels smooth and painless but I think it could hurt your skin if you push down on it. I still prefer an old fashion shave but this works perfect when I'm in a hurry. Highly recommend.

I'm writing this in comparison to waxing or shaving Pros: - not painful at all/no razor burn (if someone has reviewed that it's painful, my guess is that they're using is wrong) - can use it sitting on the couch watching TV instead of standing and bending in the shower - no ingrown hairs left behind - exfoliates the skin (I sit on a bath towel on my couch) - easy to use, just move it in small circular motions over the skin with light/medium pressure Cons: - Not perfect, hard to get every single hair especially around ankles and knees Overall I really like this product. I am a 29 year old woman that is on my feet all day for work (teacher) so it's nice to be able to sit and do this instead of shave. Like I said it's not perfect but the amount of hair that gets left behind only you yourself would notice. I have dark hair that has been thinned and reduced and grows slower due to getting a round of laser hair removal last year. Hope this helps! I definitely recommend this.

when i tell you my jaw DROPPED. this thing is amazing. i even used it on my bikini area and the hair just vanished and didn’t leave any irritation behind. make sure to do what the directions say and softly. run don’t walk!!!

I think this is mostly useful for people with fine hair. I have thicker hair and it didn't really do much to remove it although I followed directions and paid attention to the advice of previous reviewers here. It's also somewhat difficult to maneuver around kneecaps and other boney places. It does exfoliate really well, though, so it might be useful for that even if your hair-removal results are mixed. Don't press too hard or it'll feel like rug burn (ask me how I know)!
