Just bought this after months of eyeing it. I used to for the first time after receiving it and it works! My skin is light tan and I normally don’t have very sensitive skin but I did feel a little tingly once I applied lotion after using it. I think it is normal for any exfoliation process to make your skin feel a little vulnerable immediately afterwards. I used it in small circular motions and wouldn’t go over the same spot too many times at once. Also, holding it gently from the sides as opposed to gripping the whole crystal bar will allow you more control of how much pressure you’re actually putting on your skin. It successfully exfoliated my skin and removed hair on my arms & legs. Be very careful using it around your knees and elbows, it will feel like you’ve scraped yourself on playground asphalt ;)

This was really incredible. The feeling was a little surprising at first, but after a second, I got used to it and it was completely comfortable. This made me realize that I need to exfoliate more, but the hair was gone so fast! I will caution you, however, make sure you're not pressing TOO hard. I did get a little bit of "razor burn" in one spot, but that's my fault for going over it too many times. Everywhere else is super soft and lovely.

Terrible razor burn. Shaving is so much faster and gets all the hair and less irritation, with this you have to go over spots multiple times especially if you have thicker hair so maybe thin hair people it works well for. This irritated every follicle on my leg I tried it on and the leg I did a quick shave doesn’t hurt. Very disappointed as I was hoping to have something that lasted a bit longer than razors to save some money and alternate between shaving and this.

This is amazing and so convenient! It’s faster than shaving in the shower and easy to sit and use in your favorite chair. I ordered one for my daughter also. I hate shaving every two or three days and with this little bugger I don’t have to, I can sit and watch tv while rubbing this on my legs and voila the stubbles are gone AND dead skin!! Highly recommend!

Absolute sorcery. Smoother "shave" than a razor. I used it dry and my legs feel and look smoother than they have in years. I will say they're a bit sensitive afterward - the lotion I applied after stings the tiniest bit, so you probably need to be careful not to rub too hard or too long. As others have said, it doesn't work as well on bony areas like the ankle, but it's worth it for the job it does elsewhere. It also isn't as quick as a razor. But, again, worth it. I hope the effectiveness doesn't diminish too much over time (like a nail file wearing out), but I'll update if that's the case.

It works. Doesn't hurt at all. But requires lots of patience and rubbing. Leaves a dusty layer on your skin. It's a "keep it in your purse in case of an emergency" kind of tool. Not for daily use.
