I’ve been using this monitor for a couple of months now and it’s been a great upgrade for both work and casual gaming. The screw heads are kind of soft, and fail. -0.2 stars, but rounds up to a five. PERFECT monitor for 3d modeling software. Plenty of real estate for the central work area and the associated controls on the side. Nice, clear, bright display (I'm toning down the brightness, next). I don't know the refresh rate and don't feel like looking at the specs, so I can't comment on gaming applications. A comment on the stand, it's not adjustable. I'll see if I can find a wall mount for the four screw-mounts, 80mm apart. My existing mount was 100mm -- more standard. Bizarre statements in the instructions, as is par for the course, but irrelevant. I am 0% unhappy with my purchase. Makes me really look forward to these li'l guys putting out that Type 004 carrier.

Does very well performs better then what I would have expected. I had a different monitor that did a good job but I wanted to get a better gaming experience. The old monitor I had was a 27 inch 60 hertz at 1080p. Im a Xbox gamer and just wanted to see the performance I could get out of the monitor and Xbox. So I picked up this Sansui 24.5 inch gaming monitor with 1440 p aka 4k resolution with 120 frames per second which with my Xbox series s next gen Xbox that’s the max fps you can run on Fortnite the only issue I have with this is I can either run 120 fps with 1080 p or 1440 p with 60 fps on Fortnite. If you play story mode games or not as competitive games you can use 1440p and have a very good gaming experience and if you want to get 120 frames per second you can easily switch it back in your xbox settings don’t worry your screen will go black during the process of switching your settings from 1440p to 120 frames per second or vice versa. It’ll only be for maybe a few seconds then it’ll come right back up and you’ll be able to game. I’m currently building my own gaming pc for streaming and YouTube as well as other things and if you are also wanting to switch you can use this monitor for it as well I believe you’ll be able to get roughly 180-200 frames per second and you should also be able to use the 1440p resolution but the monitor does have a 1 millisecond response time which will be great. This monitor was even cheaper and a better quality then my other one was and this Sansui monitor runs amazing I got it on sale for roughly 150 bucks I’m gonna give this a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend picking this up. Was also very easily to set the base up.

This was purchased as a present and the recipient absolutely loves it. He set it up on his computer and was amazed at how nice the display quality is. He loaded a few games to test it out and really loved the way they look. Quality wise it was heavier than I thought it would be, which tells me the internals are not cheap components. Tons of protection to get it here safe. Super pleased with this purchase!

Great monitor! Does exactly as advertised, and looks very clean and stylish. The best feature is that the screen has a matte finish. My desk is next to a window, and the light reflection on the screen does not alter the quality of display.

Overall it’s a very good monitor! In my opinion having owned multiple monitors ranging from high end to more affordable. I immediately noticed the stand. After buying this monitor you will probably want to upgrade the stand. It will only cost you an extra $25-$30. The stock stand this monitor comes with is like a TV stand. It doesn’t tilt or turn. The back of the monitor is thankfully VESA mount compatible. So you can use basically any standard aftermarket stand connecting it that way. Which isn’t a big deal and fairly inexpensive to fix. The second thing you should probably know is that you will need to edit the video settings quite a bit out of box because the picture quality looks very washed and bad upon first turn on. The video settings it comes set on are far from good. Dont panic, you just have to play with it a little bit until you get the image and colors you’re looking for. If anyone struggles with this, just respond to the review and I’d be happy to post the specific video settings I have changed. Same goes for the stand I upgraded on it. As long as your okay with those two points i mentioned, you will love the monitor! All setup like i have mine, I would highly recommend.
