This monitor came well packed and installation was a breeze. The base is really nice and after getting it set up, it acts like a pro gaming rig connected to the HDMI. The contrast is excellent, refresh is really good. I don't do a lot of gaming, but I had to dust off some of my favorites to put this through the paces, and it gives a gaming experience like many of the higher-end monitors I have used in the past. I would have no problems using this as an additional main monitor or my main with a gaming laptop when travelling.
