This came in a sturdy box within another sturdy box. I only had to assemble about half the stems in the designated spots which was super easy. All the stems are the same size so no need to figure out which looks best where. The pot is heavy but I can see where it could topple due to the height of the plant. ( I got the 5ft one ) so I just set it in a ceramic pot and problem solved. This is a good quality artificial plant especially for the price. I love how it looks and highly recommend this item. You do have to bend the stems but again it is easy to do. Some reviews pointed out that some of the leaves were bent on the end so I just stretched them out between 2 fingers and it straightened them. ... show more

I searched the net for fake palms - they're so expensive! Took a chance on this one, and glad I did. I was actually surprised at the size, taller than I expected. Not too fake looking. Taking it to my office and will spread/shape there so can't attest to that yet, but it seems like it will be easy to do. Of course it's top heavy with a very small base, so be sure to put it in a sturdy pot and not in a high traffic area where it could get bumped a lot. ... show more

It was fairly easy to put the branches on and fan it out, however, I've noticed that the slightest bump can shift the weight of it, making it fall over. As it's falling, everything shifts to be in that direction, making its weight even more uneven and then trying to put it back upright is a little bit of a hassle since gravity is now working against you. I've been keeping mine indoors, so if I bump it or my cat messes with it, that's what causes it to tip. I'd imagine if it was put outside, the wind would be a problem.
