  • Crocs comfort for standing 12 hrs on concrete - yay!
Size: 10 Color: Black
If you’ve ever attended or competed in a dog show, and got to go into the judge hospitality area at lunch, the one topic EVERY judge mentions is how difficult it is to find shoes that can be worn comfortably for 12-16 hours, most of that standing on concrete and evaluating dogs or their performances. While the average spectator would imagine a decent pair of tennis shoes could do the job, the Rulebooks all mention required “professional attire”, with exceptions for conditions. Tennis shoes look totally wrong with a dress or similar women’s suits; as a Judge, I’ve struggled for close to 2 decades trying to find footwear that looks the part, and can be worn for hours and hours in comfort. These Crocs will be my go - to footwear for indoor and outdoor shows, combined with long pants. I haven’t tried them with longer dresses yet, but plan to check soon. As with other Crocs, these could benefit from offering half sizes. As a 9.5 narrow in other brands, the Crocs 9 is too small (has me either bumping my toes at the front of the shoe, or walking on the back edge of the heel), and the 10 just feels too loose, as my foot will tend to slide forward because of the heel, and then be extra loose on my heels and ankles. If I wear woolie socks on future judging assignments, this should fill up some of that extra space and make them fit properly. I tested them out for a full morning of heavy gardening; filling and turning our compost bin, feeding various shrubs and vegetables, pruning, harvesting, and hauling around the garden hose, and transplanting some seedlings and cuttings. This was done with no socks, as I wanted to see how much of a grip they had for walking on damp grass. They got muddy, as expected, and cleaned off perfectly with a squirt from the hose. So - 👍👍👍👍👍for legendary Crocs comfort for standing, looser than expected on overall fit, and if they last as long as my original pair (purchased when my son was 3 - he just graduated from college, by the way), they may outlive me😊. ... show more

  • Good Shoes for CNAs!
Im at a healthcare job that requires non-slip shoes and my friend recommended me these. They are great! I have no heel soreness or pain after being on my feet for 8 hours and no pinching of the toes. The cover is easy to clean and its handy when I do showers that my feet are not damp afterwards. I have gotten compliments from my colleagues as well too asking what shoes these were because they were interested. Strongly recommend for these shoes, it is a great deal for its price. My only complaint is a pinch above the arch of my feet, still working on stretching that out. These shoes do feel tight so I would suggest going up half a size to make room for sock and allow more comfort ... show more

  • Nothing like the lite ones
Size: 10 Color: Black
In 2021, I got the same shoes but they were the lite ones. Those were really comfortable and I didn't mind wearing them for the entire day. I ended up leaving food service, so no longer needed those shoes. In 2023, I went back to a food service job and decided I'd get the Crocs for work again because I remembered how comfortable my feet were. These are absolutely nothing like those. My feet constantly feel scrunched into my shoes, they go numb throughout the night, and I end up with bruising on the top of my feet every time I have to wear them. These are supposed to be wide but feel like I'm breaking my toes every time I have to jam them in. The new insoles are rubber so my foot does not easily slide in. It constantly gets caught on it causing my sock to tighten too much and hurt my toes. I was hoping that I just needed to break them in for them to be better, but it's been almost 4 months and I'm still having the same issues with these shoes. ... show more

  • I was hoping to love these, but…..
Size: 10 Color: Black
Lets face it, if you are employed in a kitchen and your on your feet all day, they hurt. Straight up facts. I have been through a closet full of shoes I hoped would support my back and help my aching feet. I was so hopeful for these but I’ve discovered that if you actually have to walk rather than just stand still, your toes will bang against the hard toe box and its really uncomfortable by the end of the day. I hoped to use them for catering which is like a marathon, but with food. There’s no way these would work. I suppose if you had a kitchen gig where you stood in one spot for most of the day, they might be alright, but if you’re active on your feet, you will probably be disappointed. ... show more

  • Arch support and slip resistant
Size: 11 Color: Black
Very good shoes. Great slip resistance. Best arch support I’ve had for a while. I still use insoles but I’m not sure if I have to. I’m just used to it.

  • Very small and tight!
Size: 11 Color: Black
I couldn’t fit my feet without it being too tight and I get them 2 sizes bigger than my shoes.
