I listened to all those who said buy up a size - I did and I"m returning my size 8 for this size 7. They are true to size! They are a little snug around the toes but I had on thin wool socks and they fit beautifully. My regular size in most shoes is a 7 and these fit me perfectly. You won't need to wear super thick socks as these keep your feet plenty warm. These are rubber based and do have some give. After a few hours, they loosened up considerably across my toe area. I LOVE these boots. We got our first snow of the season today and sub freezing temps. I wore these from the moment they came until bedtime. They are comfortable and with the exception of a little stretch once they were warm, they fit like a glove. No rubbing, no blisters, no break in time, and no slipping on a snow covered deck. If your feet are fairly wide...they may feel tighter but if you are of average shoe width, I'd order your regular size and if you are a 1/2 size up to the next whole size. An 8 was way too large for me. Love these boot!!! Bring it on, winter!

After reading ALL the reviews saying to order 1/2 to one size bigger I ordered a size 9, since my size is 8.5 and I have somewhat wide feet. They were a bit snug in width but way too big in length. Returned and ordered a size 8. Tried them on with thicker wool socks and.....perfect fit! Still snug in width but not uncomfortable. They are beautiful! Originally wanted to buy the UGG version but these are just as beautiful, very similar looking, and about $180 cheaper. I wore them once and they are very comfortable and warm. I walk a lot so will see how they do in the Chicago winter.

Crocs has a confusing sizing system. They have three categories: roomy fit, relaxed fit, and standard fit. I wear size 6 roomy fit, size 7 relaxed fit (and generally 7 in all other brands of shoes), and size 8/9 standard fit. These shoes are standard fit and I got a size 8, which was good length-wise but a bit on the narrower side with wool socks on. I was worried that I needed to exchange for a size 9 (which would be too long), but after walking awhile, the 8 felt comfortable and I decided to keep it. I walked in the snow in 32°F weather for about 2 miles and my feet felt hot, so these shoes are very warm, warmer than my other pair of snow boots with thinsulate rated at -20°. I hope they'll do well when it gets colder too. They're very lightweight and very comfy. I was surprised by how nice the materials felt and looked so I feel that these are definitely a great pair of boots as long as you get the sizing right (the hardest part). The great thing about ordering from Amazon is you get free shipping and returns for shoes/clothing. The shearling stops at the top of the foot and the rest of the boot is padded inside, not sure with what. These boots surpassed my expectations based on the other reviews and I'm very happy with them.

Seriously love these boots! I returned a pair of Sorel snow boots to get these beauts and I can't say enough about how much I love these! So warm, and great traction for snow. Super comfortable, even wearing all day traveling. Fit exactly as expected, not tight at all even with boot socks on. Love, love, LOVE these! Update: Over a year later and I still absolutely love these boots! They are so comfortable, weather resistant, and I think their adorable too. They look great with skinny jeans, workout leggings, or flare jeans. Seriously, best all-weather boots!

So cute. I’ve looked at these boots for a while and finally bought them. And now I’m bummed because they just don’t quite fit. I’m a true 7, ordered a 7, not a good fit. Not so small that I can’t get them on but small enough that they’re uncomfortable to wear. If I went up a size they’d be way too big. (Even with thicker socks.) So for me these just won't work no matter how cute they are. Boo.

Overall I really like these Crocs boots. I currently live in Ohio but I usually get cold in the winter even in my own home so I wear them inside daily. They keep my feet warm and are comfortable for walking although they are not hiking boots. I feel confident driving in them as well. I always wear a 9 and they fit as expected. If you wear thick wool socks, the shoes will feel pretty snug. Since I'm inside most of the time, it's best to wear trouser socks with them. Most boots are like this but the way they lift up a little in the front took a little getting used to. I have high arches and I did put a pair of supports in but that did not help. I was actually most comfortable with them out and just got used to it. Yes, I definitely recommend these boots.

Waiting for snow to up my rating if they perform well! I ordered up as I wear a half size and the fit was perfect. They are extremely lightweight, which is important to me (old foot injury) and as comfortable as the classic crocs I wear most every day. My dogs walk me everyday, and mornings when the temp has been in the 30s, my feet have stayed warm. So far I'm pleased, just waiting on winter! Update...have worn in brutally cold weather and have been rewarded with warm feet. I also am very pleased with the tread, I find them easy to walk on slippery snow, up and down gentle slopes. Extremely comfortable and great support. My daughter has borrowed them and wants a pair of her own!
