I was looking for something other than flip flops to slip on for working in the yard or quick trips to the store. Finally got to try some Crocs. Sizing is a little tricky. I'm 10.5 mens. 10 in Duet Plus was too tight, so I got these in an 11. At first I thought they were too big, but am used to them and think they're just right. What I like about these, in order from what I like most: -PERFECT for slipping on for chores or running around. They are convenient, protect my feet, and help keep my heels from cracking. Tough enough for serious yard work. -FEEL great. Lots of cushion. Room for long 2nd toes. They are easy to keep on with the straps up or back. -NICE for WALKING. Decent arch support. Remind me of the Earth Shoes I wore in the 70's---enable a smooth, rolling movement and all of the toes can spread and contribute to pushing off. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice they are to walk in. -GOOD GRIP, even on wet, smooth concrete. Very secure---unlike sandals & flipflops, which are like ice skates when wet. -EASY to wash. No more rotten-smelling exercise sandals or cloth slip-ons that trap skin & funk. They even float! What I don't like (minor issues): -CLAMMY feeling in humid weather. However, not as bad as I feared for a plastic shoe...they do breathe. -UGLY. Yup. I'm still not buying "they're so ugly they're cute." These look better than some other styles. But, hey, they're clogs! -PRICE. They're a little steep (Duet Plus were much less expensive). But I'm glad I bought them. These are great for what I bought them for. I'll surely shop for Crocs again when the time comes. REVISED 8/01/12 Added a star-from 4 to 5. I find myself wearing these more and more. Exactly what I was looking for.

Amazon doesn't have a large supply of Crocs in my size (9 men's) so I was stuck buying this one. I bought for my Afghani tour to use to/from the shower and in the shower since you don't want to shower barefooted out here. Fitment: the shoe is wide, really wide. I have about a 1" space between the shoe and my foot but it does give me room to quickly slip my foot in/out when I need to. I walk with my feet pointed forward, but if your walking gait is more like Charlie Chaplin (toes pointing outward) you may have issues with this extra space when walking long distances in these.. The sole is supportive enough with good tread to manage over 1-1/2" to 2" gravel without feeling the rocks beneath my feet. The insole has a ridge across the width (where your toes attach to the feet) and is generally molded like the bottom of your foot with a bit of an arch. The caveat with this is that water tends to puddles in the toes and heels and will require you to keep dry by propping the shoes upside down, toe up, at an angle so the water can drain off the heels. The only other OSD thing I have noticed with these clogs is the cutout at the front. I have a couple longer toes and sometimes the tips will either poke through that vent (recall the molded insole keeping my foot forward in these) or rub along the top of the vent when walking. Molded insole, nice ventilation and overall size make these great for shower shoes. Foot slipping is minimal, even when wet unlike my flip flops and I anticipate using these for flying or using on a beach this summer.

This is my second pair of this shoe in ten years. My beloved first pair was slipperier than grease on glass after having been worn smooth over that time. I live in these all summer. If anything this pair fits even better than the original pair, slightly shorter in length but that could just be that the old ones were pretty worn.

I have problems with my feet and these crocs gave me the support I needed. This pair for some reason hurts my foot.

I bought these because they were on sale.... They are like regular Crocs with an extra sole glued in the bottom.... So if you step on a pebble it doesn't hurt your feet, you don't slip and fall on any wet smooth surface, and you actually have cushion... They pretty much eliminate every issue with every Crocs Ive ever worn.
