The design on these shoes is amazing! I have not noticed any slipperiness and they are fairly easy to walk around in. I always wear socks with mine, and I do not walk particularly long distances, however. I am not sure that I would recommend doing this – walking long distances or walking in these for hours on end. I can also see how if by some chance you chose to run in them, these Crocs would possibly not hold up well, or could hurt your feet. I believe, based off what I read – and based off what I have seen – as having been what Crocs were initially used for (boating shoes?), that they would not make good athletic shoes. The sizing is perfect for me. I wear a size 9.5 in sneakers. But with the Classic Crocs, I chose to size up. This leaves plenty of extra space for my feet, but not so much that there is a fall risk. Many might find if they wear half sizes that it is helpful to size down instead. But sizing up led to my Crocs being more comfortable for me personally, overall. I have average-sized feet. They aren’t super wide or narrow, and purchasing Crocs cuts down on foot pain and such. I should add that I suffered a foot injury a couple months back, which I am not fully recovered from. These shoes are heavenly compared with most shoes I have worn. Normally, when outdoors for only a few minutes in my other shoes that are not Crocs, I experience some foot pain or discomfort immediately after. This has not been my personal experience with Crocs. Although these particular ones may be slightly less durable than another pair I own, the Stomps. I am absolutely bananas for Crocs! Lol. 🧡 ~ Polly ... show more

    • Why Crocs Are the Ultimate Work and Play Shoes!

This is my third pair of Crocs, and not because I wore the others out. In fact, I’ve had my previous pairs for years, but I decided it was time to get another. I do a lot of woodworking, and I always struggle with tracking wood pulp into the house on whatever footwear I’m wearing. But with my garage Crocs, that’s not an issue at all. I also love working in my yard, which is full of mud, rocks, and who knows what else I’m stepping in. My yard Crocs are super easy to clean, and they dry in just a minute or two. So, I thought, why not get some work Crocs? They’re incredibly comfortable, stylish, and offer all the benefits I’ve come to rely on. I bought these, and I absolutely love them. I can take walks on my breaks and stand at my desk for hours without my feet feeling like they’re on fire by the time I get home. These Crocs can take a beating—something I know well from using my garage and yard pairs—so I expect I’ll only need a new pair every ten years or so. When Mimi wants to get into the garden, she wears her crocs or some sort of muddy water shoe. These give her ultimate blend of practicality, comfort, and foot protection.
