I love these water shoes. Great for a river or a beach. They do get a lot of things in them like rocks and sand, but due to the opening they usually rinse right out with no trouble. And the mash around my ankles is very comfortable.

These are comfy. I think the soul could be a little bit more cushy. The top is really flexible, like a sock. It could be more stiff to retain shape. The cross strap works well but is flimsy. I cant imagine it won't last long having to velcro and un velcro everytime. You won't be able to remove these shoes without un velcroing the strap. My wife is asian so imagine how many times I'll have to do that when entering/exiting the house. These sandals are comfortable, and fit snugly but totally adjustable. I have been able to wear them all day with our foot fatigue or heel pain. The Velcro strap fit is snug and adjustable. My son needed some water shoes for his trip to Costa Rica and these were perfect. He tends to wear slides all summer but since he returned from his trip, these are his go to. He wears them to the river to go kayaking and says they are very comfortable. They fit his feet true to size.
