I couldn't find this model for several years, and my old ones had little tread left on the sole - but I kept wearing them because they're comfortable and functional for dry land or water activities! They dry fast, I've never slipped in them yet (I've worn out two pair now, this is my third), clean up easily, and ventilate to keep foot odor minimal, if not absent.
