I think the quality of these crimpers is great. The terminals and connectors are made with extra quality built in also. They carry additional dies besides. I saw a video ad for this tool. After decades of tearing up some connectors ending up with something looking like a dog chewed it up with those cheap wire cutter/crimper combo $3 tools, I finally got to see something that will end that frustration. I saw other similar products that I'm sure will work, however this company has more options. Very easy and actually fun to use. The ratchet action does not release until the crimp is complete. After a few projects completed, not one bad crimp. Not one busted through heat shrink connector. Just ensure the wire fits properly into the connector. Insert the connector into the jaws in the correct orientation and add slight jaw pressure to hold the connector. Insert and hold the wire. Squeeze the handle a couple of times. The jaws will continue close and not release until the crimp is complete. Then the jaws will release. I hope this tool maintains its adjustments. Literally a night and day difference in using a quality tool vs the ole, cheap wire cutter. ... show more
