This is great for helping to stick paper/cardstock/cutting material onto the cutting board, and also works really well for getting material off the board when cutting is complete. It seems sturdy and works very well. While you do not need the 'Cricut' XL tool, you do need a XL tool like this. I have this and a smaller one and both come in handy for different projects. Got this one on sale, that is why I bought the name brand, but look around for something similar if this is not on sale.
