I’ve used infusible ink many times. The one thing I will say for anyone new—use butcher paper! And lots of it. Protect the surface you’re heating with it as well as the inside of the item you’re “sublimating” with these. I’ve had ink bleed through before Also—make sure you change out the butcher paper because the ink may transfer onto it. It’s not a craft you can mindlessly do. You definitely need to be mindful of accidental ink transferring. But I love the infusible ink sheets. I use my Cricut. These patterns are also very fun. ... show more

    • A Fun and Easy Way to Create Unique Designs

I’m new to using Cricut Infusible Ink and typically work with HTV, but I have to say, I’m loving the possibilities this ink offers! I decided to try the Steel Plate Pattern transfer sheets, and they worked exactly as expected. The design transferred beautifully onto my project and added a unique touch. It’s definitely a fun way to create something different. I used the Steel Plate design to give the hearts a little bit of variation, rather than flat red. I did have a small issue where the ink soaked through to the back of the project, but I’m pretty sure it was user error on my part. I didn’t follow the suggestion to put something between the layers of the blank and the ink sheet, which probably would have prevented the issue. That’s totally on me though, so don’t let that discourage you! Overall, these transfer sheets are easy to use, especially once you read the directions (definitely don’t skip that step). You can slightly see the bleed through in the 2nd picture attached. The first picture is of the actual design I created on the front of the two pillow covers. They offer a lot of creative possibilities, and I’m excited to experiment with more designs. If you’re looking to step up your crafting game, I highly recommend giving Cricut Infusible Ink a try. Love these infusible ink patterns. Really nice, outdoorsy stuff. Using for some hats and probably tote bags. Easy to use, but pricey. Worth it if you're buying small quantities and looking for the perfect camping-type patterns.
