These readers are my favorite reading glasses up to now... they are very comfortable, wide enough for my thick face, reasonably durable, and light enough to wear for long periods of time. In fact, it's only the annoying yellowish color cast that they give to everything that prevents me leaving a 5-star review (and from buying more). I wish that they were available without the "blue blocker lenses," as I've never been anything other than annoyed by them, and especially since I read a recent article in Optometry Today (August 2023) which summarized that "The systematic evaluation of 17 randomised (sic) controlled trials found the spectacles probably make no difference to sleep quality or eye strain." Anyway, I'd love to by more of these, but until I can get them with untinted lenses, I'll hold off - hoping to find some that don't cause my field of vision to look like I'm viewing it through a glass of really weak tea. ... show more

These are my "disposable" readers. I keep two sets of slightly different magnifications on hand. The one I keep on me is a "walking around" magnification that's optimal for most situations. The other is 0.5 diopter higher, which I keep on my workbench for close-up work. The optics on these seem a little clearer than other inexpensive brands I've tried. The hinges tend to wear out on the ones I keep on me because I'm constantly putting them on then returning them to my pocket. But they're cheap, and the hinges seem to last just about until I scratch the lenses up enough to be distracting. ... show more

As described, I am happy good value for money, comfortable, lenses are sharp and clear so nice reading ability, functionality is good seem built well; stylish well I have never had style but the look fine to me. They come with cleaner cloth and slip case, definitely no difference from off the shelf ones I have tried that are five times the price. Not overly colorful so desecrate. metal arms so unlike the plastic type you could adjust a bit for a smaller head unlike my big one, they Just seem like prescription readers. Husband ordered these, and he's so pleased with them he ordered even more so he can scatter them around the house and always have a pair within reach. The bows are double hinged to fit a wide face without the need for the nonsense of bending bows and possibly breaking them. The frames are METAL, not plastic, and seem to be Very robust. Very weak lenses. 2 out of 3 are cracked. The seller will tell me it was bad usage, and I can prove I am very careful. When I needed only 1.50x magnifcation I bought a set of 6, different brand and I still have them and they are like new. A year later I bought a 2.00x magnification, the one I reviewing now, and 2 out of 3 are cracked. ... show more
