I run so winter can be a challenge.........living in the country means snow packed roads and icy conditions..........these snowshoes have given me a wonderful way to continue training in the outdoors............which is always my preference.........cold does not usually stop me unless we are in below zero temps............but ice and snow can certainly be a hindrance..........we will be getting another pair as my husband has also decided he likes them.........added plus are the easy on and off bindings...........I had to use a friends pair of regular snow shoes the other day with ratchet bindings and did not like them at all!!!! ... show more

    • Nice idea, bad execution
Color: Blue
The Velcro gets snow in it and loses its ability to hold. They do not have deep enough tread to keep your foot level when you place your weight on them and so your foot slides down and to the outside with each step. Because the heels don’t release you throw snow at the back of your leg while you use them. I don’t recommend. Definitely not worth this price ... show more

They are very light, give you great traction, and do a pretty good job of keeping you on top of snow, though maybe not quite as good as traditional snowshoes. In deep powder you will still sink in a lot. Would highly recommend for running in firmer or not-too-deep snow. The only issue I had was with the heel strap causing some blisters when I wore these over running shoes. I would recommend you wear hard boots, or tape your heels before you start. ... show more

I've used both the Eva snowshoes from Crescent Moon, and the new Luna's. I love these! They are smaller than other snowshoes I've used, and I don't get the left caught with the right as I walk. They also flex well and it feels more like an athletic snowshoe meant for speed/exercise. I tried them in 22" of snow, and they do sink-- that's the downside of a smaller footprint. But I really recommend the flex and feel if you're exercising as opposed to backcountry trail-breaking. ... show more

Absolutely great snow shoes! Used these for a very snowy day in Vail, CO with a group of first time snow shoers and they were so easy to strap on and didn’t have to adjust once. We followed a packed trail as well as off the path in about 2 feet of powder. These snow shoes were perfect in both weather conditions as they are also light weight.
