If you are looking for a reliable snowshoe for those packed-snow, pretty flat walks.. this is exactly what you are looking for! LOVE THEM !!! These are perfect for walking the trails and roads nearby. When the snow isn’t quite deep enough for the Crescent moon Frame snow shoes, these are PERFECT !! SUPER comfortable and cushy and perfect for snow covered roads and packed trail areas. EASY to put on, use and get out of. Plus they are REALLY cute and light. VERY glad to add them to my snowshoe activity.

We needed snowshoes for use on our property and the Crescent Moons work well without the bulkiness of other shoes. It also helped that the teal color was on sale, making them price competitive. They work great getting to the garage, feeding wildlife, etc. after a snowstorm. I loaned them to some friends who were evaluating different types of snowshoes and they also liked them for easy walking on level ground. But they felt other shoes would work better on uneven icy surfaces. They arrived with some cracking of the foam around the metal grip lugs, so it remains to be seen if they will work loose or if the cracking will spread.

Love these snowshoes! They are perfect for hiking with my dogs and going on walks during the winter months. I've used traditional snow shoes in the past, but I found them to be heavy, bulky, and difficult to adjust. These are lightweight, easy to use, and incredibly comfortable. Can't recommend them enough, and the camo color just looks cool!

The Velcro gets snow in it and loses its ability to hold. They do not have deep enough tread to keep your foot level when you place your weight on them and so your foot slides down and to the outside with each step. Because the heels don’t release you throw snow at the back of your leg while you use them. I don’t recommend. Definitely not worth this price

I run so winter can be a challenge.........living in the country means snow packed roads and icy conditions..........these snowshoes have given me a wonderful way to continue training in the outdoors............which is always my preference.........cold does not usually stop me unless we are in below zero temps............but ice and snow can certainly be a hindrance..........we will be getting another pair as my husband has also decided he likes them.........added plus are the easy on and off bindings...........I had to use a friends pair of regular snow shoes the other day with ratchet bindings and did not like them at all!!!!

They are very light, give you great traction, and do a pretty good job of keeping you on top of snow, though maybe not quite as good as traditional snowshoes. In deep powder you will still sink in a lot. Would highly recommend for running in firmer or not-too-deep snow. The only issue I had was with the heel strap causing some blisters when I wore these over running shoes. I would recommend you wear hard boots, or tape your heels before you start.

For the first 2 hikes I really enjoyed them. They're light, easy to walk in and they don't need constant adjustment to keep them tight. But that was on moderate, packed snow trails. The last time I used them, on a steeper icy trail, all the screws pulled out of the base (turns out they're just wood screws screwed into the rubber treads, not the carbon tipped studs I'd mistaken them for) and I couldn't make it up the trail. I'm very disappointed by the quality and can't recommend them for anything but walks in the neighborhood.
