Everybody has different sensitivities to scent but all the friends I've asked have also agreed that the scent is quite strong. It's not even that it smells particularly bad, but it's very potent or intense. In fact, the scent permeates the container. I packed it in my carry on and my clothes smelled like it after three flight. Basically, if you're coming from something unscented, be very wary of this particular scent. All that being said, the cream itself works pretty well. I had used Van der Hagen shaving butter before this, and this works just as well or perhaps slightly better. I'd be really satisfied if the strong scent didn't irritate me so much. I'll probably try this brand but unscented next time. Hope this helps. ... show more

I've never really had a bad experience using a Cremo product, and it was much the same with this shaving cream. It smells nice, applies and moisturizes well, and provides a barrier when shaving. While I do tend towards more traditionally scented shaving cream, this is certainly a good alternative.

I had tried this product previously and it was ok. Discovered that I was using it incorrectly! I was trying to use it more as a shave lotion instead of a 'soap'. Put a small amount in your wet hands, lather it up like hand soap, then apply to the area you inded to shave. Great protection against Nick's and leaves my skin soft, not dry. ... show more

Close shave and protective enough without being excessively foamy. It’s much easier to see hairs you missed with a thinner product then the shave foams. I use this everywhere and no problems yet! It has a great refreshing scent and as a woman who struggles with many skin allergies/sensitivities- this is great and hasn’t made me break out yet. I really like this scent - I always shave before I take a shower, and the scent always lingers after I'm done with my shower; and it's great!
