  • Is this wagon worth the price tag? Read my review and you be the judge.
We purchased this wagon about a month ago and have been using it for short (30-60 minute) strolls around the neighborhood about every other day. We bought this for an upcoming trip to Europe where we will use this exclusively every day for two months. I do plan on updating this review and adding more info to it once we come back from our trip at the end of October. I should begin with a bit of a spoiler alert! When you spend $300 on a wagon, you would most likely expect it to be a buy it for life type of a purchase (at least that’s my expectation). Well, after using this wagon for close to a month now, I just hope that this will last us thorugh our European trip and maybe a few years after. I highly doubt that this would be a buy it for life wagon that our kids will pass to their kids. Our kids are 1 ½ and 4 ½ years old and we bought this because we do not want to carry two strollers to our trip and push one of them empty while our older kid walks around. I will start this with the negatives that I have observed so far. 1. The cushion that your kids will be sitting on is absolutely nothing to brag about. Honestly, some of the $50-$100 wagons at Walmart have the same type of mediocre cushion that this wagon has. I don’t know what the cushion inside the wagon is made off, but your kids would pretty much be sitting on the bars. We ended up adding a half an inch foam pillow for the kids to sit on. This pillow was the topper for the kids’ shoe cabinet so they could sit on top of it while putting their shoes on. The pillow stretches nicely from one to the other end of the wagon and the wagon folds just fine with the pillow in. So, I do not see a reason for the manufacturer not to cushion this thing better. C’mon Creative Outdoor! You can be more creative with the cushion!!! 2. I have attached pictures of the wheels. While the rotating wheels seem spaced just fine, the stationary wheels in the back are a huge question mark. There is a huge space on one side and a very, very, very little space on the other side. Right out of the box, the wheels span pretty nicely with no grinding to the metal on the side. But I cannot help but wonder whether the wheels will start wobbling and grinding to the side with more use and miles being added to this wagon. This is a huge question mark! There is a way to tide or loosen the wheels. However, loosening them up makes them wobble a bit and make a lot of noise when you pull this thing. I will provide an update on this once we come back from our vacation. 3. You can see in the pictures that I took of the rotating wheels (the ones that are spaced good) how the pully stick is connected to the wagon. It has this plastic thing with a bolt in between. I hope that this will last, and the plastic will not crack or break. Time will tell and I will provide an update on that too. So far, the pully does wobble a bit which worries me to a degree. 4. One of the rotating wheels is for sure just slightly higher than the other. I do not know if there is a way to adjust the height of the wheels, but it is noticeable that the one wheel that is higher often wobbles while I am pushing the wagon. This happens on roads that are pretty levelled too, so it is not like the wheel wobbles because the road I am on is unlevelled. It is always the same wheel that ends up being a bit higher and wobbly. It helps if I put our 4 1/2 year old on the side over the rotating wheels, but still I don’t know why the wheels are made this way. These are my major concerns so far when it comes to this stroller. On to the positives now. 1. This thing folds very nicely and that’s one of the major reasons we purchased it. I have not measured the thickness of the wagon when folded, but it is very compact! 2. Having the canopy to put on top is fabulous thing! I have used the canopy just about every time we were on a walk with this wagon. 3. Lots of little pockets on the exterior plus the pretty good size pocket by the push side of the wagon where you can store things, whether that’s kids’ shoes, toys, water, or something else. 4. The wheels are made of hard rubber, so the stroller is quiet. 5. It is a plus that there are straps on the inside of the wagon to buckle your kids. Our 1 ½ does not tend to move a whole lot and we have not used the buckles, but for some people that may be a huge plus. 6. It has option to pull of push the wagon. In interest of full disclosure, I have not found a reason to push the wagon yet, but the option is there. To summarize, this does not look like a buy it for life type of a purchase. I only hope that I am wrong. The cushion is mediocre at best which is probably my biggest disappointment with this wagon. The only big thing that separates this $300 wagon from the $50-$100 options available at Walmart is the canopy. UPDATE: We are back from our two-month trip to Europe. The wagon was used exclusively every single day of our trip. To my surprise, the wagon did last through our entire trip without breaking down. So, as far as durability, I would say that this thing is durable. It did get tossed around at probably around 10 different flights that we went though. The one piece that did tear was the fabric handle. The Velcro that is sewed to it is just not done to last. We rarely used the handle in our daily use, but it did became handy at the airports for staff members to hold to while loading the wagon into each airplane. The one thing that I have to re-reiterate about is the very mediocre padding that is used in this wagon. Unless you find your own padding or something for your kids to sit on, forget about your kids being comfortable during a long walk/stroll. My biggest complaint with this stroller (away from the mediocre padding) is the fact that you cannot unzip and remove the padding for the whole cloth body to be washed in the washer. You can imagine what our wagon looks like after two months of daily usage. I am afraid that putting the entire cloth body of the wagon in the washer would ruin the padding even more. So, this might be quite of a hustle and headache to wash. So, hint, hint, hint for the manufacturer – make a thicker padding and make it removable for easy wash. Other than that, the rest of the wagon stayed intact. I did keep a close eye on the tires and screws around the wagon. I did tie up a few screws that started to become lose, but nothing major. The tires did ok and did not end up touching the metal frame around them, as I was concerned. ... show more

  • Worth every penny!
I purchased this wagon about a month ago to take my 4 year old to the amusement park. We have season passes and live nearby, so we go several times per week. We had seen lots of families there with the WonderFold wagon but I was shocked by how expensive they were. After searching through tons of different wagons we landed on his one. I have received more compliments on this wagon than I ever thought possible. Men love the chrome wheels. I have had multiple people stop me and ask where I got it and how much it was. Considering what the WonderFold costs, I think I got the best deal ever. This wagon is super easy to fold and unfold. The only suggestion I would have is to secure the piece you pull to close it to the fabric instead of using Velcro, because sometimes the Velcro comes undone. Otherwise, this thing is perfect. The push bar can be set to practically any angle. Every once in awhile my daughter decides she wants to push it and all I have to do is lower the push bar for her. It is so easy to maneuver, a 4 year old can do it. The cover is likewise easy to put on and take off. We’ve even gotten some pretty strong winds and haven’t lost it yet. My daughter loves the “tailgate” because she can stretch out and stick her feet out. And due to the generously sized storage bin under the push bar, I never have to bring a bag with us to the park and we can breeze right through security at the park entrance. I fashioned my own storage bin divider out of pieces of cardboard to create separate spaces for drink cups, cell phone, sunglasses etc. It would be really great if there was an accessory for that, but so far my cardboard fix has been working just fine. The wheel locks are quick and easy to use so we can park it quickly to get into lines for rides. This wagon has made our summer trips to the amusement park so much better. I would buy this wagon again in a heartbeat. ... show more

  • Amazing customer service!
We received this wagon and had an issue with the brake breaking during our first use. I contacted the company and they promptly sent us an entire new wagon, plus a bug net! I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with this company. I would definitely recommend this wagon!

  • This Was our 2nd One
We love these, to the extent that we're on our 2nd one now, 2 kids later, after putting on an incredible amount of miles on the first, taking it through Florida's theme parks, beaches, and all over. It's functional and sleek. Other families are always asking where we got it. These newer ones have a QR code on the side. Smart. We did recently have some nuts and bolts that rattled off however, the customer service department was incredibly responsive and helpful, helping us fix it ourselves. ... show more

  • Cadillac of Wagons
Color: Purple
Keep it close, someone will be tempted to steal it! This is our SECOND purchase of this wagon. Our first one was stolen at a theme park (which was devastating and traumatic for our three year old.) She loves her wagon; it is easy for our daughter to climb in and out of. Drives very smooth, and the extendable handle was a must for me bc I am tall. I wish the wheels were not chrome looking bc I think that added to the appeal for the thief. Great product. ... show more

  • Great design with one major safety concern
This wagon gets 5 stars in terms of sturdiness, maneuverability (make sure the brakes are off, ask me why, lol), and ease of collapsing for storage. I have subtracted one star because of a huge safety concern. With the overall high quality design and care put into this product, I cannot understand why the safety harnesses are secured to the portion of the wagon that is adjustable with hook and loop closure! My 18 month toddlers are under 25 lbs and are both able to easily undo the Velcro-like closure rendering their safety straps anything but safe! I modified by sewing through the Velcro-like closure so it wouldn’t open, but that was difficult. Please, manufacturer, address this concern! ... show more

  • 10/10! Great Customer Service too!
Color: Gray / Teal
This is a fantastic wagon, it comes very nicely packaged - just unpack and use right away. Our son has special needs and he loves this wagon, we have used it several times in just a few short weeks. Thankful to have found something like this. We look forward to years of use out of this wagon!
