The ruler has several ways to cut and trim fabric for flying geese. I especially love how the back of the ruler stays in place on the fabric while holding and cutting fabric.

I was hesitant to purchase this and looked at it several times. I was frustrated trying to get my sawtooth star with the flying geese to come out perfectly. I tried many different patterns. When I got the template, it looked like Greek to me. However, now that I know how to use it, I'm hooked. It does come with good instructions--you just have to read them! I can't wait to make another star! What an amazing tool--and so very accurate too! Love it! ... show more

this make it so much quicker to get the right cut and size of the flying geese. Wish I would have gotten it sooner

    • Flying Geese Ruler - 8 sizes in 1
Finally, they print the instructions on the ruler. They use the no waste (one larger square and four smaller squares) method, but it can 0easily trim using any construction method. Eight FG sizes on one ruler. I trimmed 210 FG units very fast and easy.
