This is the same one they sell on McGee & Co. Yes, it’s thin-be careful. Don’t just slap it from the bag to wherever you are placing it. Take it out, adjust the letters gently, and the ribbon. The A & I CAN adjust you just need to loosen the knot. It took a few min to get undone, but wasn’t that big of deal. The reason they don’t adjust is because there is only one hole. It came miss spelt. It said ‘Merry Chrisamas’ I contacted both Amazon and the manufacturers and the both told me to contact the other one. I NEVER got a refound nor a replacement for the missing T. I am extremely disappointed with the product and the customer service.

This is very cute, but the letters are super flimsy thin meatal and easily bendable. I actually took it apart to only display the "MERRY" bit and it's very cute, but keep the flimsyness in mind depending on where you want to display it.

    • Charming and Rustic/Primitive, So Cheerful, Be Careful of Sharp-ish Edges Around Little Ones

This charming "Merry Christmas" banner is comprised of a very sturdy twine-like cord with thin cut rustic brass-looking capital letters that are spread throughout. Most letters are free-moving except for the ones where only one hole for the cord is, and those are tied and stationary (I suspect to keep them from turning sideways). Because these are thin, the banner is fairly lightweight, which is what I like and appreciate. I have this hanging with two push pins, although I think one could use some lightweight 3M hangers/hooks with no problems. The thin metal lettering could be bent if one wished to, but I don't suggest doing that. The thin, rustic cuts also make the edges on the sharp side and could be hazardous to little ones and pets, so be sure to hang it too high for curious small hands or paws to reach. I love the look and simple sentiment of the banner, as well as the fact that it can be reused again and again. I'm very happy with this and think it looks so nice in our dining room. I love this garland its a very beautiful aged brass/gold tone which is very trendy right now and can be integrated into many different decor styles. Here are my not so favs about it: The metal is paper thin and will inevitably bend while you unwrapped it, its the thinnest metal ive ever seen The velvet strand is only velvet on one side and of course with such a thin strand it’s impossible to have it be on the same side throughout the whole thing, so on some parts its velvet and on others its an ugly unfinished backing. And lastly the I and A in Christmas are tied into the ribbon i strad of threaded through like the other letters. Meaning these two letters are the only ones unable to slide around and be placed how you want them. I had to cut the strand at the end pull out most of the letters, untie them and restring them to be able to make all the letters movable to accommodate the spacing of my choosing. Other than these minor pet peeves i will say its a nice big garland with a clear message and i like the color and look of the aged metal it adds a bit of rough texture to a very glittery and glitzy holiday.
