    • UPDATE: Not working and no support
The printer arrived on time, but it is not working, it is not printing anything, I have sent an email to the email address on the support page and in the printer (there is an email in the printer menu) but I got no answer yet. After this review the support team contacted me, requested some pictures and video in order to check the malfunction. I will update as soon as I get more answers from the support team and, hopefuly, the solution. I'm running more tests as requested by the support team, I will update when I have more news. UPDATE Oct 1st: The support team has offered to send a UV screen eplacement, so I update to 2 stars. I will wait for hte UV screen replacement and check if the printer works properly, I will update after doing this. UPDATE OCT 14th: A new UV screen was sent to me, it arrived really fast, it was sent by DHL. I will replace it and test it, then I will update again. UPDATE: The Creality CS where in contact with me, it is not that fast, but they do contact the customers. At the end, they sent a replacement screen, I didn't pay anything extra, I replaced the screen and it is printing now. I have had some problems with the final result but I think it is my lack of experience, this is the 1st 3d printer I have. ... show more

    • Decent prints ... when it will produce them
As with others, this is my first resin printer. Did everything in the (minimal) instruction manual and video, printed a flat test piece off Thingiverse, came out pretty good. Full of confidence, I started a more ambitious print ... and it failed. Stuck to the FEP sheet - as has just about every print since then. Once in awhile, I get a part that prints completely: always something small, and never in the same part of the bed twice. It's like the FEP sheet is single-use or something: once an area of it has been printed on, it cannot be used again. Even if you run a cleaning cycle after each print. Note that these successful prints are all parts of my own design, or off Thingiverse. The ones included with the printer failed. The ones in "Creality Cloud" that come as a free gift for signing up are so lame, I don't know why they bother - nobody is gonna waste resin on those. Where it stands now: This thing wasted a lot of my time, so it is packed away with the 8k resin drained back into a bottle. When the weather warms up, and I can be sure it is not the cold temps causing the failure (way, WAY too many variables that can cause failure in this process), I'll replace the FEP sheet and try again. I did inspect the FEP sheet after draining, and it is bent and scratched in places, so I'm sure that can't help. Very dissatisfied with the purchased, with Creality, and with resin printing in general. ... show more

    • Great product great support
This printer is good for what it's worth. I have had little to no issues getting it set up and running. While one might want the pro version like I did I settled for this because I figured I would be able to tweek it and get it close to pro. I added a similar resin drainage system using silicone tubes so the bed and vat Wont get damaged, it's speed controlled and can fill and empty the vat In 2 minutes without me pushing resin. If I help it it's closer to 1 minute. I also switched to the quick release film and have been able to print crazy quick with no loss of detail. Customer service has been amazing had a small issue when I first got the printer but thanks to reaching out on their Facebook messenger support, I had my problem fixed within 30 minutes at 2am my time. Can't speak highly enough of the support, have had issues with an older model ldr002R and support sent me pictures of my support guy taking apart another printer and showing me how to fix and replace a part. If the product doesn't convince you the customer service definitely should. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Update 08/17/2023: The metal retaining bracket for the vat had a burr on it and it ended up cutting the fep. I also have a circle of dead pixels on the UV LCD screen. I'm a little disappointed that in 2 weeks time I already have dead pixels.I contacted Creality customer service directly, but I didn't get a response in 48 hours, so just went ahead and exchanged with Amazon. It's kind of a bummer since I had a good experience with replacing my ld-006 screen. It seems like maybe Creality is having issues with their uv screens. Hopefully I won't have any more trouble. Original review: It's pretty annoying that the speed settings are capped on arrival. Super slow printing for no good reason other than selling the mage pro I assume. If someone was so inclined to look on r3dd1t in r/Creality and look up u/Bmxburner they'll be pleasantly suprised to find a way to unlock speed settings. I've been told by a reliable source that this method works and makes the halot mage an incredible printer for the money. ... show more
