The mermaid tail did not like to stay on the cat and looked very weird. Just a flap of fabric with a string of elastic. The darker colors did not wash off very well. After a couple days the markers dried out. It's a shame that you can't buy refills but the markers are just Crayola "Ultra Clean" and they are under $5 a box for a full set
