  • Great cordless vacuum!
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
I bought this vacuum for my boyfriend for Christmas last year and we love it! We use it all the time for cleaning around the house, cleaning out the cars, and cleaning the garage after projects. It’s not heavy and has great suction. We’ve been using it for a whole year and have only had to empty it once maybe twice. The battery lasts for a decent amount of time maybe about 30 minutes but if I’m remembering correctly I dont think the vacuum came with a battery. All my boyfriend’s tools are craftsman so we have a ton of batteries and just interchange them as needed. If you’re looking for a cordless shop vac and already have craftsman tools/batteries this one is a must! ... show more

  • Couldn't be better (school bus driver perspective)
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
I used the DeWalt 20v shop vac, & it's good. However, I already owned Craftsman 20v batteries & chargers when I looked up the best portable 20v shop vacs. Turned out Craftsman ranks as a top option - often above DeWalt & Milwaukee. So, I purchased this Craftsman shop vac & another Craftsman blower. As a school transportation administrator, I'm currently filling in as a bus driver, daily, due to the national bus driver shortage. I've become a huge fan of using the blower to push debris to the front of buses, then vacuuming the piles up with the shop vac. It is dusty, so you should wear a facemask, & you'll need to wipe things down more. The really cool thing is both the blower & shop vac for nicely under the bus (see picture). I don't think they could have made a better portable 20v shop vac. 2a batteries work fine, but the photo shows 4a batteries, which last a long time. Love it! ... show more

  • Great little vacuum so far. Lighter weight than Milw...ee
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
I got this Craftsman v20 vacuum because for one, I am standardizing my 20v tools on Craftsman, rather then other more expensive brands. I am just a DIY guy who treats my tools well, so I don't need more expensive, commercial tools. This thing is great, so far. I love the battery being on the outside so I don't have to open it to switch batteries like some other brands. Suction is great and the hose wrap and tool storage are very convenient. I haven't tried wet suction yet, but it's only a matter of time. I'll update this review after I've used it more. ... show more

  • Competent Battery Vacuum
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
Vacuum is not as powerful as a plug-in wet-dry, but is convenient not tethered to a cord. Gentle blower okay for very small tasks, but you will need a separate leaf blower. Standard 1.5 inch diameter hose does easily clog on outdoor debris, very good with myrtle blossoms and seed pods(!). Power consumption is acceptable, about 15 minutes with 4 amp hr batteries, I got two. ... show more

  • Works for me.
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
Suction is adequate. Not as noisy as I thought it would be. Got about 20 minutes on a 3 year old 2.0 battery. Will use a 4.0 battery when I need to. Used a piece of pipe insulation to add extensions I already had to the carry-along portability.

  • Did The Job
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
I got this to vacuum my truck interior and it did that to my satisfaction. It actually had more suction than I expected and was pleasantly surprised that it easily picked up the normal dust, dirt and small rocks one finds on floor mats and door jams. It's small enough to fit where it needed to go with the flexible hose. I bought a generic 1 1/4" brush attachment to use and it fit well. I also bought separately a 4AH battery and charger. That gave me plenty of time to do my truck. Now if it's durable and gives me a few years of use, I'll be a happy camper. Time will tell. ... show more

  • Small enough to be easy to use; Big enough to get most jobs done
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
I bought this because I already have several Craftsman V20 MAX tools. I'd had a 3 gallon Craftsman shop vac for years and it's been fantastic. Since the hose size is the same attachments interchange! I only wish it used the same size filter :-( I ran it for about 10 minutes with a 2 amp battery and that pretty much drained it. If you're buying a battery just for this tool I'd recommend at least a 4 amp. Love the onboard storage and the hose is much better (flexible) than the standard plastic shop vac. Oh, and the switch has a clear plastic cover for dirt and moisture resistance. We have a Dyson rechargeable for doing carpets but this tool with it's cord free operation is going to be perfect for most jobs. It doesn't have as much power as my corded shop vac but it's pretty darn close. ... show more

  • Versatile!
Style: Wet/Dry Vac (Tool Only)
Use it often as it is battery powered can travel. It uses battery fast so may want to invest in the more expensive bigger batteries if you use it alot. and wish it had an extension tube Craftsman if you are listening.
