I at first was checking out Ridgid's tool chest caddy. It's a hundred dollars more? But Craftman tools never let me down in 50 years of the trades. I was impressed with its sturdiness & over all design. All heavy plastics but I take their word it has internal reinforcement reinforcement? . The fasteners to close the lid & lock latch to keep them stacked & easy ride of the wheels were excellently designed. Inside has useful space for all your tools? Expected. But the single tray per box with its tiny lip catching the sides to hold in place but free to remove?... seems odd and an after thought? I expected more than a simple tray? The removable containers with snaping lids to shut for screws & things was convenient but are just stack loose side by side? I will someday check out the Ridgid in a Home Depot out of curiosity, why they wanted $100 more? But over all ignore my criticism, it a good quality tool chest & caddy. Alot better than the old single wheeled plastics tool chest with wheels and a retractable handle. This had 3 times the capacity & strength. And features is removable! ... show more

    • Nice toolboxes for the money
Bought this when it was on sale for BFCM, and man, it's a very nice upgrade from other toolboxes. The included adapter plate for Versastack works great with my Craftsman 262 piece mechanics toolkit. The boxes are roomy with some included trays for organization. I'm able to store my power tools, chargers, and all the random auto/computer/AV tools I keep around. The latches to close the boxes and stack them are well-made and lock in securely, giving confidence. The included dolly and wheels seem well-made, although I haven't thoroughly tested them. The inside of the boxes have an industrial plastic odor and are off-gassing, but it's limited to the inside; you can't tell when they're closed. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. Does the job, seems pretty durable compared to other Craftsman/Dewalt options, and found it at a very good price. ... show more

This works great. Lots of room. Functions well. The price was right compared to some of the others. The pieces are easy to remove from each other. It’s sturdy even with heavy tools. Easy to move around with the wheels. This traveled on a moving truck 300 miles, full of tools with no issues.

My tools were living in a couple of large totes and it was a chore finding anything that I needed. This stack of three toolboxes is great 👍 I was able to fit everything into it, and now it is much easier to get a specific tool.     • Perfect for Race Day Organization (But a Bit Smelly!)
This rolling tower is fantastic for heavy-duty storage. I use mine for all my ultra-marathon equipment, and it’s been great for keeping my gear sorted and protected from the elements. The modular design is sturdy and rolls easily over different terrain. However, I’ve had a real issue with a strong chemical odor inside all the compartments. I have left the lids open for days on end trying to off-gas the smell, but it’s still lingering months later. It hasn't affected the gear itself, but it is definitely noticeable every time I open a drawer. Overall, it’s a high-performing storage system, but be prepared to deal with a very stubborn "new plastic" smell! ... show more

Well-made and roomy. I bought this to consolidate my tools from multiple boxes. I'm not exactly sure of the material, but it is a thicker, perhaps fiberglass filled plastic. Definitely not the run of the mill poly that some boxes like these are made of. The handle and wheels are reasonably sturdy, and the latches secure These are an upgrade from the Craftsman branded Versastack boxes, but are compatible with those modules as well when the included adaptor is used.
