Great first tool box for our 12 year old! He lined the drawers just like his dad does so his tools wouldn’t scratch the finish. It fits on top of the craftsman bases we have and has a key lock so his tools are secure. Helping us to teach him to be responsible and put his tools away when done with them. He loved it! This tool chest was a great value it's nice and sturdy seems like it will be pretty durable. I had a problem with my order I was shipped the wrong product. I contacted the seller and they took care of it right away. They sent me an email to print off a return label and before I had the wrong product in the mail back to them they had my replacement on the way. ... show more

I do free auto repair for single moms or elderly and have all kinds of tools and always seem to need more. Needed another box to sort more tools into. This one was inexpensive, well built, actually has ball bearing roller drawers. Arrived quickly and was well padded with foam in the box.

It’s deff nothing special. Cheaply made IMO, drawers were off balance , but it works, simple and easy toolbox i guess

    • If you want sturdy, this is not it.....
I was VERY disappointed in this purchase. The drawers are already off track after just one pull. They will not stay one the tracks once you get them back in either. Only two drawers stay locked, the rest open at will. The metal itself is very thin and it is cheaply made. If you are thinking this is like the classic craftsman tool chests like dad used to have, think again. It’s not! Will not order another one to replace it. Better off at a flea market....Waste of money....🤷🏻♂️ The seller and delivery was good, the actual product was far from it. ... show more

    • Inaccurate product description
I bought this drawer chest to use in my work van as the drawers lock in place with the lid closed. This is absolutely NOT the case. With the lid closed, they roll in and out easily without even anything to slow them down. Locking the lid does not help as the lock only is for the lid, not the drawers. This item lacks any sort of mechanism which I have seen on a friend's tool crib to prevent drawers from opening. As such, this is completely worthless to me for my needs. ... show more

Good strong steel. Easy slide draws. Built-in lock. Fine finish. This is so close to the same box I bought thirty years ago, I say hasn't changed much. With a built-in lock. My original had a outside lock. Appsolutely worth it.
