I use this soap base in my infant soap bars for my small business as buttermilk is extremely moisturizing and gentle for sensitive skin. It has a lovely natural scent that isn’t overwhelming and the base also holds essential oils well. Not sure about color since I do not add color to my infant products. Just for clarification, these blocks are 2 pounds, which made about 14 soaps in my particular molds. (They range in sizes). My nieces came over around the holidays and we made soap. We had a lot of fun. We loved this soap base. After making the soap we found it is very creamy. I would recommend it to any novice soap maker! Very easy to use too.
