Weird smell. Make sure you remove them from the package and allow them to "air out" before using them. I actually sprayed mine lightly with a deodorizer before using for the event. Also, i suggest combining them --maybe 2-3 vines at a time or they would look a little skimpy. But all-in-all, decent buy.

The quality of these were okay, I did use them and they fit my purpose, however, I would not purchase again. I would opt for better quality. Also, they had a horrible smell to them and I had to hang them out to air them out before I dared use them as table decorations for a dinner.

I'm giving this two stars because we only received 11 garlands, not 12. It's not worth trying to rewrap and fit them all back into the tiny box they came in, to get a return or replacement. If it weren't for the missing one, I would give five stars. These garlands are very pretty, and worth it for the price. The leaves are small and there is a decent amount of space between them, but they don't look cheap. If using as table runners, I would recommend planning on at least two per table to fill them out. The back of each leaf is a lighter yellow, but they're easy to get them to lay with mostly the darker sides up, and it doesn't look bad with a few of the lighter yellow sides showing. I was also impressed that the leaves stay on and don't fall off easily -they came pretty tangled up and squished into a tiny box, but even through the process of untangling them, laying them out, and rewrapping them back up, only one leaf fell off, out of all 11 of the ones we received. There is a slight odor to them, it wasn't awful but wasn't great either, and definitely didn't smell like eucalyptus, but after being unwrapped for a couple hours there really wasn't any smell left.
