The XL was too small on my size 16 self. I tried another style the same but with a waist and that was more flattering but not by much. Both had an unfortunate placement of spot patterns right on the belly and the tightness accentuated it. I bought another plissé/ pleated dress that I originally thought was too large but it wasn’t and it made my figure look amazing. Love this dress so much. Very vibrant and perfect for the summer wedding I attended. Not too tight but still very flattering. Also the texture of the fabric makes it even more flattering because it hides any slight imperfections like my cellulite or rolls lol. I purchased this dress for a beach wedding. It was super comfortable with decent stretch. Thick enough to not be see-through but also thin enough that I wasn’t sweating in the Mexico heat. I especially love that it didn’t wrinkle, I rolled it in my suitcase & hung it up ready to wear.
