These cotton rounds are soft and work well for what I use them for which is usually applying toner to my face or alcohol to a cut or scrape. They are sewed around the edges, which I always like. I ordered these exfoliating cotton rounds because of the reviews. First of all, inside the package the exfoliating portion of many of the pads were either cut off or bent back exposing the pad. The cotton itself was separating from many of the pads. On many of the pads if the exfoliating side wasn't already separated inside the package, it separated immediately upon use.
