My rating is based on value. These are not hotel quality fluffy thick towels. BUT they are a great value for the money I paid. They are pretty fluffy, very soft, not super thick and the band that goes around them is pretty nice. I got black, and they didn't stain anything the first time I washed them and no black fuzzies all over my other white towels. I would purchase them again. Just know that they aren't super thick and plush. Just a little bit, but still enough to feel like its a nice towel. Great buy for the money spent.

First of all, I read all the various reviews, but decided to take a chance on these towels. These are the size I expected. They are a bath towel, not a bath sheet which is larger. They are a very nice deep chocolate brown color. They are a thick towel and soft. They are not an “energy efficient” towel as far as drying. I read they shed a bunch of lint...???? Hmmm, not my experience. Maybe others did not so the proper washing with them. . I took the new towels and washed them on the “heavy duty” setting in the washer with other dark towels. I used a normal level of detergent, warm water, and added white vinegar as that sets colors from running. I also used the “extra rinse” function. My previous energy efficient drying towels I never had any lint. For new towels, I expected A LOT (based on the reviews), but I did NOT. I had a little bit more that I usually do in a normal dryer load of clothes. For new towels I expected much more. I was pleasantly surprised as many reviews said otherwise. I did not use fanfic softener as that will block towels from absorbing. For this price, these are a very nice quality towel. I expect they will last me many many years. I am very pleased with this purchase.

So far these are soft and absorbent. You really have to always dry them in a low temperature but these are good quality with good weight. The color has faded a bit on first wash but fine since then. I would definitely recommend these towels.

They're big, CRAZY soft, and a true, deep black. The hand towels are the biggest I've ever seen and I love that. The bath towels are really big as well. These are the softest, nicest towels I have ever used. I'm ready to donate my old ones and buy more of these. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH THESE TOWELS. Trust me. Wash them 3 or 4 times before use, or you are buying a one way ticket to Lint City. Initially I only washed them once, rather than a few times as directed. Holy crap. Lint. Everywhere. Sticking to every part of my face and body. Took a while to get it all off. I washed them twice more and the issue was resolved.

I would not say that they are awful or anything. The color is nice and pretty vibrant. I don’t know why people are complaining about the size/fluffiness. They are fine for the price. BUT THE LINT. OMG I bought these in May of last year and I swear… it’s not just when I wash them either. I change the bathroom hand towel OFTEN and every day I am wiping dark green lint off of my sink and floor. It’s crazy! Otherwise good towels.
