Sturdy, stable, clean look. Good value for price. Has wall anchor straps and hardware which is wise with taller bookshelves, even with adjustable feet. Good quality small screwdriver is supplied and vital for installing wood shelves as the area is tight for a longer handled driver. If you don't have a power driver that is angled to fit into smaller areas, a good strong wrist or quite a few breaks is needed as the screws go into plastic receivers and take serious torque to install. But this is a big plus for the stability of the unit. Over time the screws will remain solidly set and present no danger of digging larger holes in particle board that might induce wobbling. I have all except top shelf filled with books. It would also hold them fine, just don't need it for more books.

Love it, but definitely does not hold “70lbs” on each shelf. No where near it. Had maybe 20lbs of books on a shelf, distributed evenly and it still started to bow. Still a great shelf, however, and has a beautiful design.

Durable bookcase to hold my book collection! I wish I had found and bought these years ago. My cheap wooden bookcases are sagging in the middle. Yes, I have lots of books. I will buy more of these metal bookcases to replace those inferior wooden ones.

POSITIVES: — The look of the bars really opens the space in the room and makes it feel more airy, rather than being blocked off like a regular bookcase. — Its also very lightweight and was easy to move. — The bookcase also seems easy to clean with a very smooth surface — The flat pieces added to the bottom of the shelf help it to glide on the floor without scuffing anything which was a nice addition to me. — The amount of shelves are generous and a lot can be stacked onto them. — My only big issue is that one of the bars I received came twisted and I had to contact the seller to get a replacement. They sent me 4 extra bars instead of one which was nice. The seller was also thorough and patient, which Is a bonus! NEGATIVES/ THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: — The bookcase is gorgeous and pretty sturdy, although the center feels kind of wobbly at times, since its just 2 ladder-like bars stacked on one another. It does hold a lot of weight though, and looks good in my room. Im not worried about it toppling over. — The band they gave for the wall attachment is fabric (for those who wanted to know) and is not as nice/ sturdy as one of those metal attachment beams, so I will be buying and attaching those instead to keep it sturdy on the wall. Not a big dealbreaker, just something that works better for me. — As an open air type of bookcase it can get dusty, so be sure to clean it more often! — Books in a half empty shelf can sometimes slip out of the bars if they accidentally topple sideways, so you will need to have bookstands to make sure they stay up straight. — Hard to push/ move when the books are on the shelf and it wobbles a bit. Definitely move the bookcase to where you want it to be before you place the books into it. — The bookcase came with a LOT of styrofoam that flew everywhere. Just keep that in mind when you order it! Overall a really good bookcase for the money and looks amazing in a bedroom. I have a vintage style bedroom and it still went well with my decor. Id recommend getting it!
