Packaging was nice. Came with 2 pillow cases. There was no smell once I took it out the box. I also washed and dried it before putting it on my bed and it came out good. It’s not as big as the King comforter I had but it’s a good size. I wish they had this exact comforter in Cal. King. It’s not very warm but if you have a blanket under it you’ll be fine.
