I have an older pool table that has many stains and a few small tears in the fabric. Needed something to keep the tears from getting worse. These were perfect. The color wasn't an exact match, but I didn't expect it would be given the age of my table. These felt stickers are extremely thin so they don't cause any redirection of the ball's motion. I would suggest trimming any loose threads before applying the patch sticker and then using something like a rolling pin to press them down. I friend knocked down one of the light bulbs from the fixture with a pool stick and the broken glass slit my pool table felt in a couple of places. I used these patches to fix those slits. the material a thin and almost matches the color of my felt. this works as expected. That said I wish these came in different sizes, I had to cut this down to 50% to work on a hole I have in my felt. I also wish these came in different popular colors, black, blue, red/burgandy etc. I have this patch on my table now for a few months and it's held great so far, but it's an eyesore for not being the same color as my table. ... show more

I had to return these because the color was alot lighter than the pictures showed. Would have worked though, but I couldnt get past the color diference.

The thin stickers are appropriately thin to patch pool table cloth without impacting the path of balls. The color was a bit off compared to my table, but close enough.
