  • SF series is great
Size: 600 Watts Pattern: Power Supply
600w Platinum, modular SFX for a great price. Bonus that the cables are sleeved to acceptable quality to slap in. It's no boutique custom sleeved cable by any means, and the cable routing will annoy anyone trying to put cable combs in. I ultimately just bundled and wrapped all the cables in my K77, the included branded velcro strips are a nice touch. As the listing states, the fan is silent mode and doesn't turn on until a certain load. In my case, that's a little annoying because even 30% would be "silent" for me, and still move some air. I wish there was a switch on the PSU for this mode. Maybe even a tiny dip switch by the modular connectors. For those wanting cable combs and nice clean cables, three things: 1) the cable sleeves are small at 2.5mm. This will make most larger paracord combs useless. 2) the 24 pin cable is actually 27 cables to comb. Additionally, some are smaller than the normal 2.5mm cable width. 3) To have any chance of a clean 24 pin cable run, you will have to depin the connectors to rearrange cable routing. I think this is an oversight by corsair, but having sleeved cables included is enough of a bonus for me. I did all of this on a SF450 Platinum's cables (same set), so YMMV and tread carefully. ... show more

  • The cords are short
Size: 600 Watts Pattern: Power Supply
These cords are short if your going to build a mid tower pc definitely buy a 24 pin cable extension along with it

  • If you need it, you need it
Size: 600 Watts Pattern: Power Supply
In short, you either need it for your build or you don't. If you have an SFF, get this. I have a very SFF case, so this is pretty much the worst case scenario for a PSU. This may be from heat leakage from other components like my hot asf 1070 FE, but from what I've seen Corsair prioritizes noise over heat dissapation. This thing gets relatively hot, maybe like 50-70 C? I put my hand over the case where this was and it felt pretty hot. That being said, this is really your only option for a SFF psu right now, and they are extremely premium. It's modular, and the cables that come with it feel amazing and are a really good length. Some may say that it's too short for their system, but it fits almost perfectly in mine (there's some excess but that's to be expected). If you're deciding between a SF750 and this, Optimum Tech did an excellent video on this PSU, but what you need to know is that it can handle the new GPUs at max load, even with an overclocked 10900k from Intel. Ideally you would get a SF750 if you can find one in stock, but this will definitely do the job. ... show more

  • Does what it says

Works nice, but I only use it as a bench power supply.

  • Quality power supply for a nice price.
Size: 600 Watts Pattern: Power Supply
I purchased this for a new PC build, about 6 months after the Covid thing wrecked all of the chip and component factories in Thailand and crippled laptop and PC component imports to the US (as well as all other countries). I would have liked a higher end PSU but since I don't use more than Ryzen 3900x and 1660 Super card, I don't really need the horsepower here. This fits my tiny Cooler Master NR200 perfectly, and cable layout is ideal for my build (even with NZXT AIO x63, SSD external drives and a bunch of other nicknacks and 5 case cooling fans mounted inside). Not even so much as a single issue. ... show more

  • It's like Corsair is reading your mind.
Size: 600 Watts Pattern: Power Supply
Twice while building a PC with this supply recently, I started saying something like. "Man, I wish they included a..." and I'd look and they did. First it was hoping they included an adapter for ATX. They did. Then it was "Man, it would be great if they included an extra molex cable." and I just hadn't dug that far into the bag. There it was. Anticipating the needs of your customers is pretty impressive. I wouldn't expect to get either of these parts just thrown in. Not in the era of two connector VGA. Not when that's a potential extra 5 bucks a piece if they sell them separate. Good show Corsair. I've been a fan for years. It's stuff like this. ... show more

  • Check cable Specs
Size: 600 Watts Pattern: Power Supply
Make sure you check the distance between where the powersupply is mounted and your motherboard, the cables that come with this power supply are only like a foot in a half, if that. And while that may seem like a lot, you arent typically going in a straight line from power supply to motherboard. I bought this for a midsized tower and they were still too short. I was warned of using my own cables, apparently modular power supplies like this dont typically bond well with cables that arent specific to the product line. ... show more

  • Quiet and handles the load
Size: 600 Watts Pattern: Power Supply
I was just forced to buy an SFX power supply because I switched to a Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mini. I didn't know before I bought the case that it only accepted SFX form factor PSUs, I found out after I already had most of my system installed in the case. My build is an ATX Z390, i7-9700k oc'd @ 4.9 GHz, RTX-2080, and a whole lot of Corsair RGB, including an H115i cooler. So far this power supply is handling the load admirably and is basically silent, just like my old Corsair RM850 that I was using for this build. I was hesitant to downgrade my PSU wattage so much but I knew 600W was enough. The individually sleeved cables are a nice addition too. I just hope this power supply lasts. ... show more
